You folks need to improve the noise. There’s various competitors on the market that have retrofit smart locks that are near silent (Yale Linus for example). No reason for Nuki to still sound like a blender.
Make the lock quieter before innovating further 😂

We own one for over a year now. The noise is definitely the biggest downside of Nuki. Other than that - we love it
I'd gladly buy one, but only when it's quieter! I can't imagine bothering my next door neighbors with this obnoxious noise everytime I unlock my door.

What a boring update, 0 innovation.
They’ve previously blamed that “retrofit devices are not compatible with Apple HomeKey”…. Which is what EVERY Apple HomeKey enabled smart lock is at the moment. Potentially great hardware when coupled with Ultion. But missing fundamental privacy focussed killer feature is such a let down
@@ryangilmore6141 it’s just doing another product, would love to see the new 4.0 update but make another product that replaces the cilinder for European homes with HomeKey, everyone would buy it.
I understand the limitations of this design, but idk the same design since the 1st generation it’s not great.
@@ryangilmore6141they also use the excuse that Nuki is noisy cause it’s retrofit even tho there are competitors (Yale Linus) that are both retrofit and silent.

Why haven't you improved the sound? I mean, every test ends with the result that your lock is definitely too loud. You may even have the best software, but that's not enough if the mechanical part is a nightmare

Should have added an NFC chip in de nuki or remote, to be innovative, that way i can unlock with the phone or smartwatch without using codes, or fingerprint, like in the winter, no need to take off the gloves.

The Pro 4.0 version is failing continuously, losing the connection to the server, which makes it insecure. Nuki is aware and does not solve it, it just drives the client crazy with thousands of tests that solve nothing. When is he going to release a new version that fixes it?
Support Apple home key?
Our Nuki devices work best using the Nuki App. Currently, this feature is not available for Apple Home Key. We hope this answers your question

The new Smart Locks use the proven shape, colors and form of Smart Lock 3.0. This means, the volume of the locking actions can be compared to those of the Smart Lock 3.0 (Pro). The new generation comes with new software and several improvements which allows Matter-support. Additionally the Smart Lock Pro (4th Generation) is equipped with a reworked Power Pack. Why we need to buy a new device to get Matters ? Is a firmware update can't do the job ?

Matter support for Smart Lock 3.0 and Smart Lock 3.0 Pro is not possible from a technical perspective. But the 3rd gen already works with Alexa… i have mine integrated with Alexa

In fact, all Nuki Smart Lock generations already can be integrated with Alexa via Nuki Web (remote access via Bridge or WiFi Module and a Nuki Web account are required). Of course this will also be possible for the Smart Lock and Smart Lock Pro (4th Generation). But with the 4th Generation a direct integration via Matter can be done (we expect this to be available for Amazon Alexa soon). The integration via Matter for the forth generation is already available for other platforms (e.g. Apple Home or Google Home). Best regards, your Nuki Social Media Team

Hello Nuki, I feel deeply disappointed. I am your loyal customer using Smart Lock 3.0 with Bridge and Battery Pack and just recently purchased Keypad 2.0 alone.
Now, with this new product release, if I want to upgrade to Smart Lock 4.0 Pro, then you try to force me to buy another Keypad 2.0. I would like to have an option to upgrade only to Smart Lock 4.0 Pro.

Too many product iterations in too short of time...
It's like the iPhone : you're not expected to buy the new iteration every time.
They just release the latest version of their products every few years and you're just expected to buy the latest generation when you want it and maybe upgrade from time to time.
That's how technology improves.
Barely anything changed. It's just a nuki 3.0 with matter and better battery pack... That's it

Thread offers a stable network with a fast response time that benefits from a high number of devices within the network. Also Thread has a very low energy consumption in comparison to Wi-Fi.
