Thanks for these videos on Nuki. I am from Canada and am moving into a house with multipoint door locks. There are NO options here in North America so, thanks for sharing this info. Once we move in I will try the Nuki locks.
Also keep a look out on the Aqara u200 which is coming onto kickstarter soon

i have a door with 2 locks (one muti point lock and one latch lock) presume i would need 2 of these? if so can one unlock command unlock both?
Just bought the Nuki 4 (not PRO) and was easy to install with Matter into SmartThings. Works great!
Not the pro because with integration in SmartThings I have no need for the wifi connection and the bit extra size for the batterypack I don't like and a freash pair of batteries are 5sec work.

Ultion Nuki said Nuki would work with Slam Lock as well.
In the Nuki App setting need to be just tweeked to two turns on the knob.
Same two turns when using manual mode.

Hi, great review. The homey integration is brilliant. But what do you think about the sound?
I don’t mind the sound, it’s useful from outside too as you can hear it kick in if you use the auto unlock
Great Video - Can the Nuki 4 Pro be set to alarm audibly at the lock and in the app if the handle to engage the multi-lock is not pulled up before turning the key?
I can’t but you will get a notification saying it’s jammed which is a good reminder to lift the handle
Do you have a link for compatible cylinders I think you mentioned Yale did one?

Any news on homekey?? nervous to pick this up on a promise.. (looking at you Yale!!)
No news on homekey and Nuki have only said they’re exploring it rather than actively working on it. I think it’s more to do with it being retro fit and an issue with Apple rather than anything else especially as the Nuki goes on the inside.
If I’m speculating, I think if (and that’s a big if) we do see homekey support come it’ll be through an optional accessory that ends up on the outside of your house
Hi Mark, did you get a chance to test the unlock front door via intercom for us people living in apartments :-) I made the mistake of bying a Nello just before they went bankrupt :-(

does it support knobs? I don't have a key on the inside but a small knob that I have to twist by hand
Yes but it depends on the brand of lock you have...all the free adapters are here: shop.nuki.io/en-gb/spare-parts/nuki-adapter/
Hi, thanks for your brilliant review. If I have apple HomePod as bridge , anything I will not have if I go for the non-pro Nuki 4? I think changing 4 AA battery will be quicker than unplug, charge the pro battery pack😅
The only thing you might want to consider is whether you want to be able to control the lock out of home using the Nuki app…you should still be able to via Apple’s home app but without the in-app £45 purchase for adding the matter remote access to a Nuki 4 (not pro) you won’t be able to see the status of the lock away from home in the Nuki app. Hope that makes sense…I have got a base model Nuki 4 review coming up on the channel soon

Yes with the pro via WiFi in the Nuki app or in the Apple home app

@@Raphaelch93 I've been using Nuki locks for about a year and a half and the only issue I've had was actually an issue with a faulty cylinder
Hi Mark, after watching your video, definitely thinking the Niki lock is my best option. The only thing that’s holding me back is the fact that I have to pull up the handle to engage the multi-lock before turning the key. I have heard reports of smart lock breaking if the multi-lock is not engaged. How does Niki handle this - as in, if the handle wasn’t pulled up to engage the multi-lock ad you try to lock the door via HomeKit?
There’s been a few times when my handle hasn’t been fully pulled up or not at all and it just detects the resistance and stops and flashes red to say it’s jammed

Yes works fine, mine hasn’t broken yet and not did my 3 which I used for a year before getting the 4 pro
Very useful. I’d like the Niki 4 Pro with the integrated internal handle and backplate but can’t seem to find this to purchase. Anyone?
At the moment Ultion haven't updated their packs to include the 4th Generation so there's no way to get the pack with the handle. The only way to do it would be to buy the existing Ultion Nuki pack and a 4 Pro (which works out more expensive even if you then sell on the Nuki 3 that comes with the Ultion Nuki pack)
Ah this explains my frustrations! 😂 Given I need the handle would you suggest the Ultion Niki with the 3 is still a good option. Shame as I have a black door and they do the 4 in black 🤷♀️

i'm sorry for asking but i can't find documentation about this, can i set it up in a way that the lock cannot be unlocked from the inside unless authorised? i have a garden with an iron gate i don't want anyone to reach with their hands or for my small kids to wonder off. Right now it''s easy i just lock the gate from the inside and my mind is at rest, am i able to do that with this particular product or any other recommended product (with aff link ofc)
Hey, you can disable the button feature on the Nuki but not the twist to unlock…of the main smart locks I don’t think any of them actually offer what you’re asking

Hi, I want to ask can I upside down to install the Nuki smart pro 4, cause my door handle is under the lock, it isn't enough place to install.

Hi Mark, I just bought a Nuki smart lock 4pro and successfully connected it to my Apple Home kit, but it always shows no response, now I only use a shortcut to use Siri, I want to ask is it any procedures wrong or need attention?

Very informative, but you're speaking far too quickly with very few visual examples, which is making it difficult for me to follow you. Example being your cool sounding auto-lock "g-allocation" feature. Shame...
