    do you ever feel like using a squirmy wormy is kind of not fly fishing?

      Eh, not really, the gap between fly and spin fishing gets smaller every year. You got flys with big clear plastic heads, foam tails, rubber, we’ve gotten very far away from traditional materials. And I’m not a fly purist either.

      There effective and work, I fish them on the same rig as more traditional flies. I tend to stray away from them as spring ensues and we get more bug life going on
