Confusing for slow people

Haha that was my buddy on the phone and I was recording and I wanted to talk to the camera. After work fishing session wasn’t expecting much so was talking on the phone.

If it clear I’ll fish low light, or sink tip in really deep holes on lower sections. Can still produce some nice fish. But stain is prime for everything, lots of fish and some tanks are munching. Always prefer a stain.

Lots of the classic driftless water isn’t good steamer water usually. Spend a lot of time on more marginal stuff catching less then 10 fish a day but for big fish. Will fish the classic medium water if it’s stained. I’ll hopper fish headwaters and do everything else too. Got a video coming from skinny water next week.

@@WISCOFISHINGANDOUTDOORS I have a vid of a 32 inch lake run fish and a 30 inch driftless fish. The first one was 19-20, I consider anything 18-23 big for a driftless fish. To each their own if you think that’s average or small. I’m sure you catch bigger fish then this one on Czech nymphs. Good for you. It’s boring to me, I’d rather streamer fish. I’ll nymph but I’m going to use an indicator. Once again to each their own.

Sorry for the confusion, I was using the sink tip in the video. I hardly streamer fish with my gold. You can it’s great line but I save it for dry fly fishing and nymphing. Most the holes I like to hit are deep in this section and I want that ability to get in front of the fish’s face longer.

@@egrabi1SA sonar sink tip 215 grains I believe. I can get the exact model and share that with you. Leader is a just a 2 section 3-4 foot length. 20 pound butt section to a 12 pound fluro tip. I like short with the small holes and in the heavy stain fish don’t spook. Slightly weighted fly, lead eyes and some lead shank wraps. I always like to fish something with some weight when it’s stained.
