  • Shloimi and Feige Steinmetz, self-proclaimed “simple Jews” from Montreal, were catapulted into international ambassadors for Emunah and resilience after the tremendous tragedy in Meron, where their son Dovi perished along with 44 others.
Shloime’s eulogy for his son set a campaign that would change people’s lives in motion, leading to the formation of the Ani Maamin Initiative. Thousands of people have developed deeper Emunah and Bitachon through the different projects of the initiative, and the Steinmetzs’ story of creating light amid terrible darkness continues to strengthen and inspire everyone who encounters them.

This is so beautiful! So powerful!
The line... "It doesn't say Ani Mevin it says Ani Ma'am in" incredibly powerful! And your son doesn't sound normal at all, sounds extraordinary! Those are the great people the ones that in their normal life stand out in front of others without too much extras

I don't know them from Adam, but i can't forget watching/hearing R'Shteinmetz standing with his sons talking at the levaya with so much faith. He and the pictures of his wonderful son a.h touched strangers all round the world and he should know we cried along with them at the time, his loss is our loss...and listening to his mothers description here he makes us laugh btw! Wishing them Only comfort and nachas from here on.

These parents always make sure to include all pf their children when they talk about Dovi a"h. At the levaya too, Mr. Steinmetz made sure to say each child's name and how special they are. I've never seen something like it before. It just amazed me. Incredible people.

I appreciate her open and real human feelings. I have felt similarly before and couldnt help but feel guilty. Hearing someone else verbalize it as well is so healing. Hashem wants us to be real with him. He is the one that made us the way we are.

Thank for another great episode! Just a little feedback... Can I i please get the link for the WhatsApp status? Can't find it. Also for some reason the mics haven't been so great lately. Dropping the volume on and off throughout the episode. Been happening since Tziporah Grudko was at the show. And also with the women of the Special Children's Center
