- I speak about how to export Unreal Engine into After Effects so that you can take your Unreal Engine project and composite or use better tools inside of After Effects. By being able to take Unreal Engine into After Effects it can give you more control when finalizing your project.

Glad it was helpful!
glad you shared this workflow...this is the way im doing my final comps in AE because you just dont have the tools in UE to finess it... thanks for sharing about the red giant comp tool , that looks great
Your welcome
Eres genial! Gracias por estos tutoriales!!
Thank you man! You’re the best! Thank you for sharing all the pipeline, don’t worry about not going straight to the point… it’s very useful information 😂❤
lol thanks
Great stuff, thanks for posting, you make it look easy..
Thanks for watching!
Your awesome big dog. Thank you.
Kool video very helpful cheers mate👍
Glad it helped
Dope dropped some gems
EXELENT!!!
Quick question: when I go to render my sequence, it’s ignoring my cine camera haha… what am I missing?
Love your videos man! The best on RUclips!
Make sure to pick your Cine camera on your camera cut layer.
@@WeShootFilms ok I will try that! You have no idea how much your videos helped me man.
If you’re ever in the LA area I want to buy you a beer or whatever haha 🤘🏻
no doubt I lived in Long Beach for 6 years lol but yeah anytime hope it helps.
Thanks so much
No problem
Dope tutorial! You can also render using stencil layers!
Yeah, I know but sometimes I just like to delete lol
My man haha
6:55 Nice!
Can you do a tutorial about adding a greenscreen object and placing it into Unreal Engine
That is the same process that I show adding a a person on green screen.
thank you for the tutorial. re your speed issue in after effects - you rendered the seq from ue at 60fps. in the video it shows your ae comp is 30fps, I suspect it loaded the img seq at 30 fps not 60 fps, so its playing at half speed. in the project window you can right click interpret footage and set the playback to 60fps. in after effects-preferences - import ---- you can change the default frame rate img seq are imported.
i would also suggest changing the name of your clips in the comps, if you change the names in the project window and clips go offline, it can be more difficult to know what file you are looking for since the ae file name is diff from what it is linking to.
You must mean Davinci resolve because in after effects I render out 60fps and in Davinci I change the speed to 60fps because my timeline is at 24fps. I def appreciate your advise and appreciate your support.
@@WeShootFilms you exported from unreal engine img seq at 60 fps that you brought into ae timeline that was 30fps. that you put a speed change on them to correct playback - was talking about those.
cool, but this isn't working for me, is there no other way to walk around this?
Just do exactly as I did and it will work you just not be doing something
I see you have Blender installled. Have you done the same thing using Blender instead of Unreal? would be interesting to see the advantages that one has over the other.
I’m not really a Blender user I do use it but usually just to either import a model and export it to a odj or a fbx file. Its not really in my workflow to much I find blender to be an amazing tool but don’t really like the learning curve lol I use it as needed lol.
@@WeShootFilms fair enough. It's quite a beast to learn.
You don’t need to delete assets etc. You can use layers to separate assets and then render passes there are lot of tutorials about it.
Btw it would be great if you make tutorial how you match lights in greenscreen and shot
Yes, I know you can separate each asset that’s the point I didn’t want to separate each asset. I just wanted to get rid of it all without doing all the separation work but thank you. I appreciate your comment and as far as the tutorial for green screen lighting. I’ll definitely do something.
@@WeShootFilms Ook, we all learning. I think it’s much easier to use layers.
@@CaliHomie yes layers are good if you need to separate everything I didn’t I just needed the background and forground and I always try to make things easy for me but def do what you think is best.
😮😊
Hey bro should it be taking over a over to export ? I use a laptop 12700h intel processor 64 gb ram and a 3070ti
Sorry don’t understand the question
@@WeShootFilms darn spell correction 😂 what I meant to ask you is about the rendering times I tried to render out about 30 seconds on unreal engine and it took like a hour and some change a whole video probley would take 5 hours lol
@@kamoringrant8351lol all good yeah the render times can be crazy based on your pc specs. I have a i9 with a 4090 and about 96 gigs of ram. But yeah depending on your export quality settings you’re gonna be waiting my g. What I do is wait till the end of the day leave it to render and tomorrow morning it ready to go lol.
@@WeShootFilms ahhh got u how long does it take ur computer since it’s pretty spec up?
@@WeShootFilms ima defintely upgrade once the 5090 comes out and whatever dope processor comes out later on next year i also have one more question for you og when i export the project and drag it to adobe after effects its super choppy and slow like the frame rate changed even after i exported it from after effects
You can just add a black plain background behind him that covers everything in camera
So will that black plain be transparent in after effects
@@WeShootFilms With the Alpha ticked I believe so, if not it can be a green or blue backdrop to key out. Worth a shot, so you don’t have to delete your assets.
@@WeShootFilms or select everything at the same time like you did and tick “hidden in game”
@@kgdllc yeah I didn’t want to do that I know how to do it the other way. But I like deleting lol it’s almost like an inside joke if you watched my other tutorials sometimes I talk about liking to delete things lol but yeah sometimes I just keep it simple but I feel you
@@WeShootFilms 😂😂😂 Cool
Has anyone ever had the issue where their green screen footage almost looks shiny in unreal? I followed everything and it worked, the footage just looks so strange.
Never seen my footage looking shiny
Maybe because of the texture you used and sunlight
thank you very much
You are welcome
