- In this OSRS F2P Dungeons guide I cover the new Ruins of Camdozaal Dungeon, a new area in Runescape for 2021.
OSRS’s new dungeon runs on a new substance called Barronite. There are several different activities covered in the video, including; Mining Barronite Shards & Barronite Deposits, Prayer Fishing, Golem Fighting and the Camdozaal Vault Run mini-game. The XP rates and rewards are primarily aimed at low to mid level players (below level 50). However, the Barronite mace is a cool item. Well worth the time to unlock (you’ll need to get the Barronite Guard from the Camdozaal Golems, the Barronite Handle from Camdozaal Fishing and the Barronite head from Barronite Mining). The Camdozaal Vault run mini-game is also awesome fun, despite the loot/rewards leaving something to be desired, though I did get an Adamant Kite Shield for my Hardcore Ironman, so in my case it was worth it!
This guide in chiefly for osrs F2P dungeons, although the only real differences for members is the availability of catfish (caught with a big net) and the level 70 chaos golems, (which will probably make my bane, the Barronite Guard drop a lot quicker), so even members can benefit from watching this video.

Thanks to @Game Nerd420 for pointing this out, but they have updated the Smithing XP for breaking down Barronite Deposits from 10 XP to 30XP.

The Ruins of Camdozaal Dungeon is located beneath Ice Mountain (North West of the entrance to the dwarven mines) and player must complete the 'Below Ice Mountain' Quest to gain access (there is a link to the guide for this quest below and in the video).

you can right click the forge to empty it now that way you dont have to hold the shards in ur inven great guide btw ty for making it

Won't you have to still hold space for it cause they still get collected everytime you skill

Got my guard on about the 25th drop. Didn't have loot drop enabled until I had killed 18 of them. I've been mining for hours to get the head though, still in the process. My buddy and I decided to make HC Group Ironmen, start out and do f2p until we complete all f2p quests and then we can get mem if/when we want
Hello Logan, thanks for the comment brother! If you haven’t already deffo unlock the mining and luck buffs from Ramarno (costs 5.5k b’nite shards), but you should easy get the head from b’nite deposits after 👍
Yeah I think it’s a gd way to go it’s much harder to make mistakes and die in F2P, I mean if you go members it makes Wintertodt a bit more challenging in terms of the increased hit points but I got my HCIM to 99 FM there and I had about 60Hp so it’s easy doable.
We started a group iron… our HCIM status lasted about 5 days 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️ still need to release the video on that one too 😅🤷🏻♂️😬 Gd luck dude!
I realize this is a year old but I just restarted the game and am also doing all the quests before I go mem

Great guide man. An all in 1 guide and first one I've seen, super informative. Sadly they upped the xp per crushing each barronite deposit from 10 to 30xp today. But dam great effort but jagex screwed ya lol

@the healer Yeah that ups the rate to nearly 3k an hour based of my mining rate of a full inventory every 15 minutes. That's actually a decent change in terms of 3k an hour is like 27 steel 2handers, certainly easier than mining and smithing all that coal...

Yo Krazzy! You can but it’s quite a rare drop like 1/800 I think but pretty much the only way an Ironman can get one 😅
It's been 3 days now.. on and off grinding at body golems still no guard drop but I got 200K+ xp on Strength. Probably I liked it here more than afm at spiders at SoS because of bank and just grab food easy.

I had the same experience with the body golems 😅 Now typically whenever I kill one in passing it always drops a guard 😬😬😬 RNG life 🤣🤣🤣 yeah the bank being so close is great and yeah definitely better xp than the spiders if you’re defence is high enough, you have the mace and the buff from Romano. 🍀 if it hasn’t already, I hope it drops for you man 🤞🤞🤞

I’ve got the mace before on main but the account I’m using is 91 strength so I got the guard first record speed and got the fishing one working one mining my fishing and mining in 20s lol mining is seeming hardest now getting good done tho
Yo brentpruss7600 make sure you get the buffs from the dwarf in there, they definitely make a big difference! Good luck 🍀 I hope you get the drops quickly! For me it always seems to be the guard that takes ages to drop 😂
I believe the mace is better for crush than battleaxe since its speed was buffed its a whole 2 ticks faster, obivously this update was after the video just giving a heads up for others.

@@TheLumbridgeKnight my mistake for not clarifying, all maces were buffed to be 4 tick i was actually referring to rune mace fir killing the golems.

literally took me 15 minutes to get the guard from the body golems and about 30 minutes of fishing to get the handle. I've been mining for like 6 hours and haven't got the head yet.

Man I know that feeling… RNG really sucks sometimes… OSRS loves it I swear they have something in the code that when you need something it purposely makes you wait ages… 😅😅😅 happened to me again recently in leagues killed one of the god wars bosses like 300+ times, used all my food (3k sharks) and still didn’t get the drop 😳😳😳 Anyway, cheers for the comment dude I hope the head drops for you soon man! 🤞🤞🤞

Congrats on the B’nite mace bro! 🎉 Pretty much the best melee weapon in F2P for Ironmen, only the hill giant club and the gd old rune scimmy that trump it, and they are a pain to get without the old GE… That’s true at least the mining side is quite AFK, might be a decent place to train mining to be honest 🤔 never really looked into the XP rates 🤔

The items you get from the deposits, you may want to save one of each of you're planning on going to members, because each unique one gives you 1 kudos as well as the 200 gp.
The mace pieces are decent money, especially cause i seem to get a flood of them doing the prayer, and each piece alched is 5.1k, so a nice bonus
The golems sparked something in my mind once i made a f2p only hardcore, and that is, why are chaos runes a member only runecraft? If anything, they should be the final f2p tier, seeing as the chaos alter hardly gets use anyway cause everyone does GotR or abyss
Yeah it would be nice to be able to make chaos runes in F2P! Agreed that arching the mace parts is a nice bonus especially for irons. With the items… I’m not 100% sure but if you hand them in I think when you become a member you might still get the kudos if you speak to the guy on the 1st floor of the museum… I’m not sure though, if you don’t get your kudos then yeah that’s a great tip if you’re going members keep one of each to get your kudos! Mate, I had the exact same thing happen to me… I didn’t have the loot tracker plug in on rune lite turned on so can’t remember my KC but it must have been similar to yours… then 2 dropped almost one after the other 😰 may the RNG gods be ever in your favour man! 🍀🍀🍀
I have the whole collection log from these mines, and thank goodness there are no uniques from the Vault. I am awful at it. I have not once got out in time. I've only been going for one chest, too? I must be a right spazzmo. Anyway, the museum Kudos and Imcando hammer are most welcome, my inability to run through the maze is less welcome. I don't get lost, just my little fella is too slow, or something. Same with Tithe farming. more than 16 is a far-off dream for my clumsy fingers.

Got the golem drop on my second inventory... three days of mining later...
I’ve had the same problem man 😬😢 but it’s always the guard for me… First drop took 250 golem kills to get it to drop took me a week 🤦🏻♂️
Have 2 accounts, just maxed out all buffs on both of them,
My higher account only got 2 heads, and my lower account got literally 1 haha
It's always the same, as soon as you don't need it anymore you will get loads... Took me well over 250 kills to get my first guard... Absolute nightmare... 🤦♂️😅

Yo man, it’s good for F2P end game training, potentially the fastest melee combat training available if you have the B’nite mace and the golem defence perk. Just not very AFK. Members 🤔 not sure I’d bother there’s quests that will boost your combat levels beyond this place pretty quickly 🤷🏻♂️ I agree with LocoLaRoco 👍 Thanks for the comments and I hope that helped!

It’s easy to get lost in P2P. There are much better money spinners in members though that’s for sure! I think thieving can be quite effective 🤔 I need to get round to some proper P2P guides!

Cooking and offering the fish is not worth your time. Just drop the fish you catch.
Yeah it’s not the best XP wise is it… If you’re low level and looking to do it AFK it’s a bit more AFK than combat so might be worth it for a short run. Prayer in F2P is difficult… 😅😱
@@TheLumbridgeKnight Cooking and offering the fish triples your time trying to get the handle and this translates into hours if you're unlucky. Hill Giants and Ogresses are the only enemies f2p players kill nowadays, you'll get your prayer that way.
Yeah definitely a good point! If you’re just looking for the handle absolutely nothing gained from preparing and offering the fish at all! I just tried to cover both bases in the video I was trying to get a feel for how much XP per hour the preparation and offering mechanic offered 👍 I think I got lucky and got a handle within a few hours, not had one since… 😂
