Watching my mum gradually get worse in health over the last 4 years of her life nearly killed me once she had passed away. If anyone had done something to spoil my memory of her...I know how the character felt in this film.
The nicest callback of the endscene is that he take the walk with his new back just at the place, where his wife broke down in the opening. Something he loved ended at this place but a new thing he loves starts there.
Keanu doesn't even NEED to make films either, since his earnings from 'The Matrix' films are I believe still a world record and he has been insanely rich ever since then. But still a humble, nice guy almost to a fault.

Yeah I’ve seen that video and the experts taught him to reload fast too to be more believable. He’s very good with guns and Halle Berry was also taught to be good with guns. They said she was the best female shooter they had. I think she’s in John Wick 3.

The runway John practices on is at Republic Airport in Farmingdale, N Y.. The fountain where Ms. Perkins gets hers, is the Bethesda fountain in Central Park.. :)
i love how Hannah gets distracted by trivial things in the movie. 😂 My film buddies also tease me whenever I get distracted by the wasting of water in films--like, it bothers me when characters leave the tap water running in scenes and i always scream "turn that tap off!" as if that would work.
I'm with you on the bit about writing a terrifying protagonist. It's one of the few movies that does it. xD some people have actually written youtube movie essays about it. But the most brilliant bit, imo, is: they don't do a 20 min introduction about him where a narrator explains who he is. They just go into the movie, don't let him speak for a long time and just let everyone immediately know him. Then once that mafia boss goes: " oh...." - it's pretty much all set. Btw it's also refreshing that he doesn't have to introduce himself fifteen times (like in other movies) since they all know him xD
"I once saw him kill 3 men in a bar with a pencil." ✏ "He's the one you send to kill the boogy man." Those are two of the best quotes I've ever heard to describe how bad ass he is. Great reaction.
11:00 It's a Russian tradition thing, Vigo doesn't drink his glass when he clinks glasses with his son, which means he doesn't support what they toast for.
The attention to detail in this movie is perfection. All the guns fired used the exact number of rounds before they had to be reloaded, just like in real life.
Mikael Nyqvist (Viggo) passed away in 2017 at age 56, he had lung cancer. He wasn't huge outside of Sweden, but he had been in some pretty big international movies like this one and Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol. He played Mikael Blomkvist (yes, very ironic) in the Swedish adaptations of the Stieg Larsson Millenium books. RIP. Hilarious reaction as always, it's great fun to se you all together.
Your face when she grabbed your beard. Ha. Haha. Bahahaha!!! Between Ash's crazy excitement and Hannah's sweet goofiness and love of decor amidst headshots.... Its almost better than the movie. You guys bring me lots of joy in a tough time.
Firsly: It's so good to see how another man can have as large of a man-crush on Keanu as I do.. Second: The amount of "Oh my god!", "Oh shiiiiiit" and "What the F"s are just as much as there should be at watching the John Wick movies... and there are more to come in number 2 and 3 :D
When Ash says at the beginning that the saddest thing is watching your wife deteriorate, I gotta say he's wrong, it isn't the saddest thing, the saddest thing is watching your child deteriorate. Watching your child, that which you have brought into this world, who is half of what you are, watching them deteriorate is the hardest and saddest thing. No parent should have to bury their child.
Very entertaining reaction video. Ash I love how hyped you get. Nothing gets by Anahita, very clever...and Hannah was cracking me up constantly finding background details more interesting than the main plot
Great reaction, did you guys know that Keanu Reeves also lost his longtime girlfriend due to a car accident many years back and this was what was appealing to him in the role of John Wick because of the similar story the character shared with him, the loss of a loved one. It was him basically letting out his inner anger and regrets that he never got to. Keanu is precious and must be protected at all cost.
When I first seen this movie, I was on the younger side, cried my eyes out when the beagle puppy died, my parents ended up surprising me with a beagle 😂 he’s beside me now sleeping
To be fair, John did torture Theon by letting him live for so long. He killed off all his friends and guards. He had him in the hot tub, but deliberately killed the other guy in front of him. He had him with the sniper rifle, but killed his Call of Duty friend instead. He stalked him. You saw how paranoid Theon was by the end. Finally once Theon had nothing left, John ended it without letting him get his last words out.
I love how one was just enjoying the show, one was looking at the background, and then the obvious fan boy swooning at every scene. 😆 might have to watch more of em.
Just showing how versatile the actor playing the mechanic is, he also played Clown in the movie Spawn, and Luigi in that horrible Mario live action movie.
Don't forget that he was also the voice actor for Syd the sloth in the Ice Age movie franchise as well as a cross dresser in "To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything! Julie Numar".
The John Wick house is out here on Long Island in a very exclusive town called Mill Neck. The runway where he practices is Republic Airport, Farmingdale, NY ..
Best reaction yet! Love all 3 of you together. Also when the lady dislocated her thumb and Hannah looked down at her thumb and started wiggling it I died 😂😂😂
32:59 John let's Viggo go because he needs Viggo to pull the open contract that's out on John. It's also a critically important & defining characteristic of John Wick that he's a man of his word, and so, because he gave his word that he'd let Viggo go in exchange for both Iosef's location and Viggo pulling the contract, John was true to his word and let Viggo go. Also, note that Viggo later tells John that he appreciates John having been quick with Iosef's final moment rather than making Iosef suffer by drawing it out in the way John had surely intended originally. John granting Iosef a swift end instead of the more agonizing affair John had in mind at the start of the Wick revenge tour can be attributed to Viggo being a man of his word as well - a show of respect from John, even if an incredibly morbid one, for Viggo pulling the contract as promised.
The gun play in this and the other John Wick movies are just a sight to behold. When John is using a specific handgun, sometimes you’ll see the specific way that he sometimes checks the gun before he starts or continues to use it. When Viggo clinked his glass with his son and put it down, he did it because he didn’t support what his son did. That’s why he poured another drink.
She: Oh The Glass! She: Oh The Chandelier! She: Oh I love the music in the back! 🤣🤣🤣 She's a Keeper Mate!!!! 🤣🤣🤣 I loved this reaction and can't wait for the other two movies 🤣🤣🤣
The Red headed girl is really pretty. 😌 There is an inside joke during the fight scene in Red Circle. People who made this, were Star Trek fans. The joke in ST is that anyone who wore a red shirt was killed. The people in Red Circle that Wick kills are wearing a red shirt.
A lot of people are very impressed when they learn John killed three men with but they really miss the context. The impressive part is those men weren't just random guys. They were well trained, upper tier, probably well armed, assassins. An John Wick killed them with a pencil. Probably without breaking a sweat. What made this reaction so great to watch was seeing Ash go all fangirl on Keanu Reeves. Not judging, Timothy Olyphant hits me the same way.
I guess the reason why John didn't even say a word on the phone with Viggo is because, the concept of honour and respect is very important amongst mafias and gangsters, so, John didn't wanted to honour Viggo even by uttering a single word.
The bridge at the end, looked like the same one his wife collapsed on, in the beginning. Also, if you look back at it, the thugs didn't put Daisy beside John. You can see the blood marks on the floor from her dragging herself to be with her master.
with the sequels they ruined a perfect ending.... and the sequels are not even close as good as the first one. just more action and far less (good) storywriting.... bet a lot more logical plotholes...
They didn't place the dead dog on him in the beginning. Look closely next time. There is a blood trail behind the dog. Because the dog crawled over to him before it died.

The Gold coins (which don't have a value necessarily,) the value is in what the coin represents to the person receiving it. One coin could be used to buy a drink, your silence or a car. It depends.
Watching my mum gradually get worse in health over the last 4 years of her life nearly killed me once she had passed away. If anyone had done something to spoil my memory of her...I know how the character felt in this film.
Sending love 🥺
better ghet a safety jacket for Ash for this one, he might spin out of control on the action :D

The nicest callback of the endscene is that he take the walk with his new back just at the place, where his wife broke down in the opening. Something he loved ended at this place but a new thing he loves starts there.
I'm glad someone else caught that Easter Egg
Didnt notice but its actually true.
9:13 "You know shit's serious when Keanu Reeves gets a bus." Now that's a **Speed** reference if I've ever heard one. Bravo!
I love how you think John just carries pencils around with him. He had a knife both times hahaha
Keanu doesn't even NEED to make films either, since his earnings from 'The Matrix' films are I believe still a world record and he has been insanely rich ever since then. But still a humble, nice guy almost to a fault.
He also gives alot of money to children's charities, such a nice guy.
@@jasondavid3969 even tho it’s 7 months late he does donate most of his earnings to widows since he lost his pregnant wife back in the 90s
The dog he took at the end had a notice to be exterminated for its "ferocious" breed.
I missed that! 😢😢😭😭😭
This might be the most entertaining John Wick reaction I’ve seen. The only thing that was missing was an “Oh my god” counter. Hope to see y’all reacting to the other Wick films in the future! Keep up the good work!
Hahaha I wish I had an editor to keep count so we can do a drinking game next time 😂 appreciate you mate for watching, thank you
There's an amazing reaction to the trilogy on another channel... if y'all don't mind me sharing.
"you know shit's serious when Keanu reeves takes the bus" This had me on the floor. I need to rewatch speed.
Alfie Allen also played Theon Grayjoy aka Reek in GOT. But he did get to have a redemption arc.

The trick with headbutts, you aim for the nose. Cartilage gives way easier then bone, provides a cushion for your forehead.
Slight daze for you, broken and bleeding nose for the target.
Hahaha love the analysis 😂
There are videos out there were you can see him weapon training. This isn't just editing and cinema. He is really good with guns.
Yeah I’ve seen that video and the experts taught him to reload fast too to be more believable. He’s very good with guns and Halle Berry was also taught to be good with guns. They said she was the best female shooter they had. I think she’s in John Wick 3.
He’s good with guns. Lots of guns.
yea she went with Keanu to the training facility. both went way beyond expectations for the roles they were playing and impressed the he'll out of people that shoot for a living
"He just puffed smoke through his nose, of course he's gonna follow'im!"
Lol, girl knows her stuff.
Quickly followed by asking what Keanu's character was called in this movie lol
The John Wick house is out here on long island in a very exclusive town called Mill Neck.. -- It's right at the end of Horseshoe road right by the water..
I love how John is bad-ass af but he can still get injured
Dude so badass even the mafia is afraid of him, they even kept tabs on him during his retirement.
watch "Nobody" apart from the final scene that guy is badass...
What a great evil name too, BABAYAGA!!
"I once saw him kill 3 men in a bar with a pencil." ✏
"He's the one you send to kill the boogy man."
Those are two of the best quotes I've ever heard to describe how bad ass he is. Great reaction.
I like, in context, “oh.” So much sandwiched into just two letters.
11:00 It's a Russian tradition thing, Vigo doesn't drink his glass when he clinks glasses with his son, which means he doesn't support what they toast for.
symbolism: They pay with gold coins because that's the real money. Not fiat money.
I wondered why he looked so familiar. I didn't recognize him with the beard. I love all the GWTDT movies and books.
One thing that is really sad is that the puppy crawled and died next to John. Totally worth killing 200+ people haha
Your GF is a fan of the interior design more than the film itself. She’s awesome dude 😂
😂 mate watch the second movie reaction it gets worse haha

We got you mate!! Hopefully whatever it is you’re going through ends soon! Love you mate
I've never met a man who DIDN'T have a man crush on keanu lol.
A bromance is a special thing
When Ash says at the beginning that the saddest thing is watching your wife deteriorate, I gotta say he's wrong, it isn't the saddest thing, the saddest thing is watching your child deteriorate. Watching your child, that which you have brought into this world, who is half of what you are, watching them deteriorate is the hardest and saddest thing.
No parent should have to bury their child.
I enjoyed your review, specially the redhead girl's comments, so pure and innocent, hopefully she'll never change
Very entertaining reaction video. Ash I love how hyped you get. Nothing gets by Anahita, very clever...and Hannah was cracking me up constantly finding background details more interesting than the main plot
😂 you get all types of reactions..but glad you enjoyed it mate, means everything to us..proper legend!
@@justtrustash Hannah sees things from a different angle. I love the mix of you three. Added a lot of depth to the review!
"That electric bill though" LOL She is a keeper and was very entertaining. Hope she comes back.
People literally getting cut open by John wick....
Hannah:- I love the background music 🤣🤣
When I first seen this movie, I was on the younger side, cried my eyes out when the beagle puppy died, my parents ended up surprising me with a beagle 😂 he’s beside me now sleeping
"Oh no, the glass." I did not expect to hear this during this film review haha.
"Someone's car is wrecked now." haha, she is brilliant :)
This dude is hilarious!! All 3 of you guys are great and so fun to watch.
Thank you so much mate, means everything this comment ❤️
Watch his Tropic Thunder reaction. Hilarious stuff.
(And if you see this Ash, you seem like a great bloke. Thanks for the content!)
Hahaha love you mate, thank you for this 😂
Keanu in Matrix- I know Kung Fu!
Keanu in John Wick- I know Gun Fu!
Only time I've seen Ash go silent for 10 seconds, when the puppy got killed:(
Just showing how versatile the actor playing the mechanic is, he also played Clown in the movie Spawn, and Luigi in that horrible Mario live action movie.
Don't forget that he was also the voice actor for Syd the sloth in the Ice Age movie franchise as well as a cross dresser in "To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything! Julie Numar".
"You know shit is serious when Keanu catches as bus...", thats a different movie!

1 Million views, congratulations Ash!
Appreciate it mate ❤️
"Now... now I'm pissed."
Yeah, Anahita, so is John, lol.
It’s pure art!! Love it mate, thank you for watching ❤️
Can't wait to see your reaction to JW 2 and 3. Hitman is another one you'd like.
That Baba Yaga song is real. My Great Grandmother used to sing it in the nursing home. Two decades before this movie. It is a Romanian country song.
i just laughed hard when she said "oh, no the glass!" hahahahahahahah
She: Oh The Glass!
She: Oh The Chandelier!
She: Oh I love the music in the back!

The Red headed girl is really pretty. 😌
There is an inside joke during the fight scene in Red Circle. People who made this, were Star Trek fans. The joke in ST is that anyone who wore a red shirt was killed. The people in Red Circle that Wick kills are wearing a red shirt.
1:00 NOTHING BUT THE FAX MY MAN! Keep on spittin them bro! 👏👏👏👏
Took me forever to realize Daisy, the dog, actually crawled over to John's body to die! 😭😭😭
Took me a couple of rewatches to catch that. Now it breaks my heart even more.
You need to see the sequels as well! These movies are a rare case of the sequels being as good or even better than the original.
Hello nice to meet you
Ash… thinks they killed a lot of people in this one!!! Hahaha John Wick 2: HOLD MY BEER
So glad I found this channel. Ash is hilarious
I guess the reason why John didn't even say a word on the phone with Viggo is because, the concept of honour and respect is very important amongst mafias and gangsters, so, John didn't wanted to honour Viggo even by uttering a single word.
It’s insane how much training Keanu Reeves did for this movie
Man deserves every bit of praise 🤟🏾
The bridge at the end, looked like the same one his wife collapsed on, in the beginning.
Also, if you look back at it, the thugs didn't put Daisy beside John. You can see the blood marks on the floor from her dragging herself to be with her master.
If you guys liked this movie, then you're going to love the sequels. Great reaction video yall, very entertaining. 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Mad love to you mate, thank you ❤️
@@justtrustash welcome
with the sequels they ruined a perfect ending.... and the sequels are not even close as good as the first one. just more action and far less (good) storywriting.... bet a lot more logical plotholes...
@@Metzwerg74 yep. Sequels are worth a watch for some great action scenes and cool visuals, but the first one is the only really good film.
Keanu does action scenes he does NOT do stunts. He has an amazing team that do the stunts.
They didn't place the dead dog on him in the beginning. Look closely next time. There is a blood trail behind the dog. Because the dog crawled over to him before it died.
