I love watching these videos. You should demonstrate the kneeling on the buses. I can't wait to get a bus. Even though I'm in NJ I would love to buy from NW Bus.
Lol... I think I've driven this bus since I worked for Gray Line of Seattle. I probably have also dispatched this out many times to drivers.
I think I rode this bus on the last Friday of May in 2013... I was on a field trip that day.
you all should allso include a test drive of your coaches with your videos
Do a school bus if you happen to get one in
Too bad it got repowered with a Detroit Series 50, the 8V92TA would be much better.
I hate to break it to you fellow, but a C3 with the Series 50 & B500 Transmission is MUCH more desirable than one with the original engine/tranny combo....
This would be considered the "Cadillac" of upgrades to most bus nuts like me, as it's a modern engine design, with both killer torque & good fuel economy...As the Series 60 doesn't fit into this model of bus, the series 50 is as good as you're going to get !! on the C3 (It can also be retrofitted to the MC-12...)
The 8v92 is probably a modest upgrade from the old 8v71, bus is still a 2-cycle that's based on 1930's engine technology.

I have nothing against the Series 50 of course and it was probably in need of an upgrade, but the original engine for 1990 would have been a 2-cycle Detroit, which are very hard to kill. Regardless both are very good engines from different times and she still sounds very good.
