you can hear the motor rpm's drop as the lift rises so good thing it only works in high idle
I like when you show the motor and the features of the bus... I never seen an MCI Bus with a handicapped lift....

Allison transmission, very nice unit you got here. many more years of service left
1985-88 mci 96a3 witch they are not in common you can get it as a coach or commuter transit for those who don't know 96a3 means 96 inch wide a coach with a Porta potty and the commuter transit has a stop request buttons and the destination sign in side of the bus and you can have standeecap or not 6v 92 TA Detroit diesels with the ht 740 Allison automatic transmission 8v71 &8v92 N-TA Detroit diesels turbo or not because the mci 102a3 witch they were built between 1985-93 because 92 &93 are both add to the production 102a3 means 102 inch wide it came with two choices as well I've rode the the 1991 mci 102a3 witch it was a ex Dallas rapid transit and then saddleriver tours and now transervice operated by five mile beach electronic railway company & I've have motor coach today magazine from 1994 -99-2000 one of those magazines had feature laketranbus the 1992 mci 102a3 CT one of those 3 buses were from new York bus service witch they bought from an auction of the lowest bidder of 1995 believe it or not and the last time mci made a 102a3 it was in 1993 omniride have a couple of those buses back in the 90s
nothing wrong with the mci 102d3 and dl3 buses and the d4000&d4500 buses witch they have air conditioning and heating in side of the buses either you wanted a wheel chair lift equipped or not they came with the dd series 60 engine with the b500 Allison automatic transmission or caterpillar or a Cummins diesel engines from 1993 -up but they are nothing but boring anyone can sleep on those buses
