Indeed… :) 💙 the animations really portray that tragic feel with the sad beginning, optimistic middle, and tragic ending. A masterpiece by Chopin… portrayed wonderfully by wolowolowolowolowolo...
I'm with you on that. That single passage can make or break a performance for me. So many pianists just blaze through it and don't give it any significance, but it's absolutely harrowing despite the fact it is back in a usually uplifting major key.
Oh wow, a whole piece animated?! I'm very grateful. If you keep this up you will enter the pantheon of classical animation youtubers among Gerubach and Smalin
Este Nocturno tocó Lizst para Chopin cuando ya estaba muy enfermo, apenas horas antes de fallecer. Liszt tocó esta genialidad inefable para despedir a su amigo, en el piano de Chopin, que yacía en una pieza contigua.
4:45 and so on made me bawl my eyes out, I’m guessing Chopin was a tortured soul given the music he left us, this describes the deepest grief after losing someone dearest to you. Beautiful.
That last note, when the sheet turned back to white paper with black notes, that was absolutely like coming out of a trance. Your work improved Chopin's masterpiece so much, how delightful this video is. I wish everyone got to experience these 7 minutes for the first time.
If depression were a piece... This has everything. The sadness at the beginning, the feigned happiness in the beginning of the middle section so people don't think something's wrong, the octave section (to me) represents a depressed person being goofy and funny to cloak their own pain and make sure others don't feel the way they do (because this is what I do), and then the coda seems like a depressed person getting home, by this point drowning in the deepest, darkest doldrums of depression and despair, and then finally just releasing all their emotions by screaming and crying into a pillow before going to sleep. That's my take on this beautiful, tragic nocturne. Peace ✌🏾❤️
What a beautiful interpretation I had not yet heard. Might even be my favorite! Your animation complements the music incredibly well---this was an amazing experience to watch and hear. Chopin truly was a genius. It is unbelievable how powerful this piece is. Well done.
finally got around to watching this... thank you for making this in full, this is truly one of the nocturnes that hits me the most 🥺 haven't heard this recording before... really cool voicing :0
This one must have taken a long time to animate. Great choice in recording. This is the only one other than the Rubinstein recording worth listening to
This music was not written but discovered from what maths already wrote and never wrote, always existed in the flow of time. One man found it and copied on a paper
There are some ideas, such as stackato can try jumping, dim can create a single note dimming effect, and ff can shake onto paper.but maybe it's a big project
I have no other way to describe this other than it feels…sick. Not diseased. Just sick. Some parts feel like someone’s stuttery breaths when crying or trying to hold back crying
Amazing work,👏🏻 as always. I was wondering if you could a small animation on Mozarts 8th Piano Sonatas Development section, its has a quite stormy feel and is very unmozart-like
Ayy you did the full version, congrats Wolo ❤ For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.❤

It's almost like a ballade, a rollercoaster of emotions

This is one of the most beautiful pieces ever!! 4:46 when it goes to the doppio movimento is just so magical
Great choice of recording. Chaimovich's take on the doppio movimento is fantastic!
Debussy didnt say in vain that Chopin was the greatest of them all He truly is

Yo te lo pedí, y lo hiciste, te amo, muchas gracias, este es el nocturno más trágico y doloroso que existe
The way that the begging was played reminded me of Claudio Arau's playing

i love how you re-animated the doppio movement instead of using the video you already have of it. great effort!

This must have been very difficult to make. Nice job this is brilliant, you are very underrated
Bravo! It's touch!
The tempo is slow, which I like as it’s very expressive and peaceful which is recommended in this nocturne.

This is a great compliment, though a bit exaggerated, of course ;-) But thanks.
Wow. You actually did the whole thing.
It's a great nocturne nonetheless.
also, this nocturne is very beautiful. First four chords convey a very complex and solid emotion.
