Certainly one of the most infamous battlers in this day and age, Hollohan seems to have no problem embracing his role as the anti-hero. Despite not battling as frequently as his fans may desire, the Nova Scotian balances this by bringing an insane performance to each of his battles, and this outing was no exception. Originally scheduled for a previous event, Hollohan was unable to make it to Toronto, instead opting to reschedule for World Domination 4. Widely known for his ability to cram an incredible amount of punchlines into each of his rounds, the self proclaimed Genius on Drugs hits his opponents with punch after debilitating punch. Back in Toronto for yet another World Domination appearance, Hollohan finally steps into the ring against one of his toughest opponents to date, Charlie Clips.
Beginning to step outside of his comfort zone on the URL stage, Charlie Clips has begun to see his popularity grow in other leagues, with a recent appearance on Don't Flop and now King of the Dot. Coming out of Harlem, Clips put himself on the map with a legendary performance against Tay Roc, before coming out of the gates swinging years later, stacking up battles against Arsonal, Big T, Serius Jones and Aye Verb. Able to effortlessly control a crowd with his almost conversational tone during battles, Clips decimates his challengers with a combination of fierce punchlines and bars alike. Making his second trip to Toronto after not being able to battle Hollohan the first time around, Charlie Clips makes his official King of the Dot debut in what was easily one of the best battles from the event.

This is why I admire guys like Clips...he got booed and still powered through and regained control of the crowd...the mark of a true rapper.
Charlie's first in the battle man. This might be one of his lowest viewed battled, but his first still gets me hyped.

Charlie took all 3 rounds. I got to give hollohan props because his 3rd was deep and I respect that. He gave his personal life experiences and you can see it through his performance and hear his voice much respect for that.

Battle fans criticize Smack rappers for talking about a life they don't live, but then they watch Hollohan and say he's whack for rapping about that same shit when he ACTUALLY lived/lives it. If he was black and from NY with the same bars and background he'd be in everyone's Top 10. This was a low key classic. 2-1 either way.

I actually enjoyed this battle until I read the comments below. The battle seems not to have been judged on content, but on color. LAME. This battle is void to me. The 3rd round made the battle. I enjoy Eminem, Tupac, Immortal Technique, Dr Dre, Obie Trice, D12 and a lot of underground rappers. Race has nothing to do with it, the music and the lyrics have everything to do with it.

Dang! I was hoping that this convo would take that *1* step further and become revealing. Not ALL of any race only enjoys their own culture musically. But it *is* that way *most* of the time. Seems to be human nature. We normally support our own. With that being said; whites have the largest single American contingent in regard to both population *and* financially. That puts Caucasians in a uniquely powerful position. One where they can see an art form or performance with non-white cultural roots. If whites like it enough, it becomes monetized and no longer cultural. Rap is the biggest victim. Blacks invented it as an expression of our experience. But instead it was taken and popularized for money by whites. In America, whites are the only race of people who get ownership of what they invent.(By ownership, I mean: Being chief profiteer).
After ALL of this exploitation of Black culture, black people still get called *racist* for simply mentioning the truth. So whenever I hear someone saying "does it HAVE to be about race?", my reply is, "Yes...every time I hear a white person rapping".
