One of the best known battle rappers in the world, Dizaster has begun to battle more frequently, and against bigger names every time. Since last year alone, the Los Angeles emcee has taken on some of the best around, including battles against Arsonal, Cortez, and T-Rex on the URL stage. The former King of the Dot champion continues to bring his unique blend of freestyling and animated performance to every showing, and remains one of the most unpredictable rappers in the game. Seen more often than not lately on the King of the Dot stage, Diz headlined back to back KOTD events, World Domination and now Battle of the Bay 6. Facing one of his biggest challenges to date, Dizaster clashes with Aye Verb in this first release from BOTB6.

It was actually a round-about diss about Diz. Verb was calling him a spoiled brat who acts black. And without his "rich" dad(he's not rich, btw), supposedly Dizaster would've never gone far(also untrue). Last point, Verb rapped that dad angle in a way where he was sounding hella sarcastic, so in the end it WAS a diss to Diz and his dad.

I'm really trying to find a way to Diz won. I'm really trying to see it from a Diz Fans perspective so I broke down what he was "saying" round by round...
Round one he said insults including "Kool-aid man/LL cool J fan, Black Nick Lachey, you look like Kid n Play, some multi-scheme about Verb doing his hair, meeting him in a club, said some "real" shit about his clothes"...ummm what? Word play? Metaphors? Name flips? Punchlines? Outside of multi and freesyles and YELLING LOUDLY, he didn't really do anything or have any 'haymakers'
Round two..."Chase into a washington mutual (Thats light), something about walking fast, another long drawn out multi in which he finishes "the force that hits you feels like an etheopian cobra kissed you (um what?),...finished the multi with a metaphor saying you'll be folded like a order menu (light)...again metaphors? Personals? Word Play?...Just Multies, Jokes and some "freestyles" and YELLING LOUDLY. Again no haymakers
Round three..."Jamall/Barack, give us back our names, religion back, 'if I had a son like Aye Verb, I would took off too (STOLEN BAR - PAT STAY SAID THAT AGAINST MARV), something about a gold oscar for being a home robber (huh?), stock brokers/Broke Stockes (JC's shit), Some multi about poor farmers/four fathers/dough off her where he's clearly getting emotional, another extremely long multi with a few bars (over your head like pollution, talking like college students), Blueprints bar (Highlight of Diz battle), Some shit about fuses/diffueses/embalmin fluid that has nothing to do with Verb, ends with a mortal kombat multi...again few Punchlines/Metaphors, weak personals. Again, Diz had great aggression, but really no real bars. Since he "freestyles" and uses multis people give him credit, which is fine if that what your into. For me, freestyle just isn't that impressive, especially when your flipping someone shit into a bunch of filler.

You're telling me that Verb's writtens (who has to repeat himself from the top if he gets interrupted) is better than Diz's relentless (and yes, sloppy) freestyles?

ever since money been on the table and cats been throwing writtens in their shit and passing them as freestyles, it has been slowly training the public to think freestyle ability should really be at that level, when in fact it isnt.. its all too easy to spot a freestyle MOST of the time because its simply not as polished as purely written bars (duh). BUT when someone can actually stay on flow, on syllable, and freestyle some shit that actually makes sense or even has a punchline, that there deserves it's credit due.. if you disagree then maybe your own freestyle ability would put everyone else to shame and well damn u should hop in the ring in that case cause id love to hear it

He's so different. That last round from diz was mainly him rebuttaling verbs third round. I think verbs third verse is one of the best verses/concepts I've ever heard period. Verb took this battle. Diz put on a really good show, but he relies on his impressive wordplay while spitting ENTIRELY too much filler. This is a battle, not a song writing contest. His rebuttals were great, and his freestyle blended well with his written. But Verb's experience shined through. Verb simply had a higher number of relevant metaphors, similes, schemes, analogies, personals, and general insults. Name calling and detailed murder lines are bland, no substance in regards to a battle. Paint a picture in my head through clues and insinuations, that's the art form. Diz took the first, lost the second, and got edged out in the third by a hair.
I wish that people actually listened to Diz's "crazy" raps and find out that they are so bad lol. I guess the sound effects of his voice really make people buy it.

Really? Con will own Dizaster? Ok, lets compare both of their material and delivery and performance from BO4. Diz performed to the crowd and was complex and structured. The decision could've easily swayed to Dizaster had one key thing happened.....if Dizaster had gone second. Then, not only could Dizaster have flipped all of Pat's stuff, but his bars would've had more of a lasting effect, or would've taken the momentum, if you will. Con's material and performance were average at best. He was good.....back a few years back. Nowadays, he sounds like the old model of battle rap, too much of a pause followed by a weak finisher. And his slogan(which always get battler's a reaction) barely got any reaction. So, please, explain to me how Dizaster will get bodied exactly?

i wouldn't say hands down mann, come on..when you say "he came harder" im assuming you meant he came with more aggression which doesn't necessarily put you on top. verbs bars were more real like stories like the psychologist bars where he used to say how fake diz is and the bars about how diz only puts hip hop on like a jacket..in my opinion verb came out on top. they both preformed really well nonetheless.

Dizaster is horrible. 3rd round he was just far too emotional. Sure, he can freestyle and he blends it seamlessly with his writtens, but overall his unnecessary yelling and fake aggression just takes away from the quality of his bars.
