New rule: We start calling Franky, Usopp, and Brook the "Party Trio" from now on.
What about sanji tekking also mentioned sanji
I think we can all agree every strawhat brings some party tricks to the table.
@@averyhuggins2512 one trio per crew mate. We need Carrot to complete the Boob Trio. If Yamato joins (depending on whether he is also a duck) then with Jinbei and Chopper we will have the Beast Trio.
Nami literally just has to find her original climotact
Tbh if carrot and Yamato both join we can start doing quartets like:
The monster quartet, the middle quartet(or the weird quartet ) and the weakling quartet
Captain: Luffy
Monster Trio: Sanji, Zoro, Jinbei
Party Trio: Brook, Franky, Ussop
Brain Trio: Nami, Robin, Chopper
Right not weak Trio
Right
More like scaredy-cat trio, before time-skip
Can one not be in multiple trios? The monster trio is Luffy, Zoro, and Sanji, The party quintet is Luffy, Brook, Franky, Ussop, and Chopper, The intellectual quartet is Nami, Robin, Chopper, and Ussop.
(Where I am, Jinbe isn't TECHNICALLY in the straw hats. I'm not sure if he ever does, but I'm not adding him to mine)
@@wooper2434 Jinbe fits into all the listed trios. Jinbe is multifaceted.
well how usopp's pop greens could work is that they use epicgenetics like how a bee given royal honey can become a queen and how a bee feed regularly just becomes a worker. what could be the case is that usopp being in active care of the popgreens is causing them to develop in a more benevolent way so that they become regular flowers and stuff but still maintain the genes to become a super plant of death incarnate. so taken care of directly = happy flower, shot at a soldier or at concrete = plant from hell. although this is just head cannon
As good an explanation as any.
perhaps the pop green work like this:
Sexual Dimorphism
the males of the pop green species are fast growing fantastical monster plants that are only necessary for their pollen and the functions they serve, while the females are cute harmless pretty little flowers who produce pop greens and dont get huge so that they can propagate anywhere,
that answers tons of questions, but raises 1 more, how do you tell the male pop green seeds from the female pop green seeds?
Well since it's one piece maybe the females are shaped like cubes and the males are shaped like spheres
@@red-em7yc maybe
makes sense to me,
The Stepford Gamer that’s the first thing I thought of as well. Glad you explained the horticultural biology a little because I could only come up with male and female. I think it’s the same thing with seeded and no seed watermelons
USOPP:”HIDDEN JUTSU DEEP FOREST EMERGENCE STAR!”
BLACKBEARD:”NANI?!?!?”
You joke but a few sucker punch Impact Wolves might actually be what's needed to kill him. He's a glass cannon apparently and it's not devil fruit based.
James Bailey who are you referring to as a glass cannon?
@@chrismorelli6647 Blackbeard. He's extremely susceptible to pain, and unlike most logia he can't turn immaterial. Every DF has some logical weakness, after all. If he gets slammed out of nowhere with wolves, there's at least a decent chance he gets knocked out, but that's just my headcanon.
James Bailey I think it’s because his devil fruit is darkness, it swallows everything and absorbs everything like a black hole including pain so that’s why pain hurts him 10xs more than anyone else however I think he will steal kaidos devil fruit to fix that problem since kaidos devil fruit makes him invincible with his thick scales.
@@chrismorelli6647 we still don't actually know Kaido's DF so that's in no way a fair guess.
Only Tekking would make a 40 minute video about plants
artydomi you underestimate the power of the cringe cringe fruit!!!!!!!!!!
Lol facts 😂 this guys is truly a goat at what he does he make really great videos... I’m really trying to get him to check out thisruclips.net/video/frIIdolkrCw/видео.html
Correction, only Tekking COULD!!!!
And only his fans would watch that video happily 😂
@Pure_Steve _1153Im sure he originally ment, FICTIOUS plants, from a backwards Japanese comic series. Quite obviously there r plenty of farmers and botanists who also make content about ACTUAL plants, most likely even longer in some cases, BUT AGAIN, i dont believe it was the original commentors intent to be taken LITERALLY. I wouldve thought that was PAINFULLY apparent.
Should call Usopp Nuclear Man because he has the power of plants.....POWER PLANTS....
There are other types of power plants
Why don't we call him hydroelectric man
@@FrancisR420 I think Nuclear power is stronger
nuclear jokes! dededededed
That’s a Sokka joke
@@darkcloak100 yeah nuclear man could probably totally kick hydroelectric man's ass but we don't fault Aquaman because he was weaker than Superman, right? we don't all s*** on Aquaman do we?
The plants in the garden do not has to be the same as the ones he uses in battle. The possible explanations are *(i)* phenotypical plasticity. So the phenotype (the morphological and anatomical characteristics of an organism) are not set on stone. The phenotype can vary depending on the environment, time of year, stimuli, etc. A simple example is how you, given the right stimuli (gym training) can change your phenotype to become buff af. Or an artic fox that changes its fur in the winter. There are even more extreme examples! There are tadpoles (scaphiopus genus) that are developed to a super big, aggressive and carnivorous if they eat a particular diet during part of the early development but maintain a small detritivorous morph when not exposed to said diet. There are populations of water fleas (genus daphnia) that grow spikes when on environments with predators. There are pitcher carnivorous *plants* (genus cephalotus) that grow or don't grow traps depending on temperature and soil conditions. There are water plants (genus higrophila) that grow with soft stems and soft and long leaves underwater, but change drastically when growing outside of the water! Another explanation *(ii)* is that the attack pop greens are hybrid of the "calm" parents Ussop grows on the Sunny. So if he grows calm plant "A" and calm plant "B" and crosses then together he can generate a pop green "C" that is both violent and sterile and cannot generate more offspring. That is actually not uncommon on agriculture, as many of our crops are somewhat the something: sterile hybrids of two different plants!! The final explanation *(iii)* is just old plain mendelian genetics. Let's say the aggressive morphology of the pop greens are controlled by a single recessive gene that is in some known loci (behaving pretty much like albinism). So the parents can be heterozygotes tho this loci and present both genes, an "A" allele that is dominant and codes for a normal morphology (which is calm) and an "a" allele that is recessive and codes for the aggressive morphology. 25% of the offspring of those parents would be homozygotes and recessive for the aggressive morph and therefore would be aggressive.
Now teking, this is high school grade biology xD You should had paid more attention to biology classes instead of bailing them to read OP XDDD
Should be a top comment
But man, saying that he shouldn't have talk about One Piece during high school is brutal.

@@rubberbandba11craft fair enough. Maybe there is sexual dimorphism in the seed already? Like mendels peas?
The Stepford Gamer probably same way you can tell the difference between male and female seeds for weed, color and size.
I just realised something is the reason ussop is so good at sniping because of his nose cause the way it looks is a long straight nose all he has to do is align his nose with the target and dont try telling me he cant see his nose my guy has a nose bigger than some peoples D
Error detected! Many time after a beating he have other forms of nose even zigzaging or curving... or maybe it's the best time for effect balls pitcher... wondering...
Yes
Tekking, you should check out the Australian plant the “gympie gympie”. Usopp would be terrifying armed with it.
This plant is covered in tiny hairs, that break off with contact. Each hair contains toxins inflicting UNBERABLE pain, described as being electrocuted and burnt alive at the same time. And the worst part: the pain never stops as long as the hair stay in your skin, and it last for at least three days after removal as well.
The plant is also known as suicide plant, allegedly some soldiers would accidently wipe themselves with the plant during ww2 and ended up shooting themselves, just to end the pain.
That plant is terrifying, I learned about it from the “Fact Fiend” RUclips where they not just explained what it was, but told Wild stories involving it. From what’s known about the gympie gympie, Usopp would be a monster in Wano if he had it.
Everything we have down here is terrifying. And don't you all forget it, mates. Eat your Vegemite.
Hell yea fact feind is that MAN!!!! N that plant is horrible!!! It should b his finishing move, death by ur own suicide!!! He could b like, i can make u kill urself!!!! Lmao every1 would think hes lyin!
@@lawaern3474 Australia: Where the only thing that won't kill you is old age xD
@@FuugaNatsuNah, even old age is probably more dangerous there.
I feel like Usopp since he’s careful and always plan for everything. I feel like he even has the seed of the Stomach Barren(whole plant island). But maybe it’s something like it only produces 1 seed every thousand years or something. So Usopp could basically create a whole island 🤔 waiting for the right moment for his ultimate move. Would definitely add to his fame, creating a whole island in an instant.
Great idea!
that would be so insanely cool, imagine the entire crew being knocked off the ship by a gigantic attack like zou swinging its trunk and thinking they're all dead only to have usopp shoot something to the water and creating a full island.
You know what would cool if he has to fire it by the end of the series and that island then becomes sniper island
Use it to devour all of Mariejois in an instant.
And that’s how sniper island was formed
Yes the ''Tekking tomato'' is really cool and all... but where are the ''Tekking peppers''!!!!!!!?
Where are the tekking potatos? 🥔
Too hot for the RUclips censors badum tiss
Tekkonions?
i'm just hoping for more tekking tumbles
Weird that Oda made him a plant based sniper. So random because it doesn’t relate to his original power base, but it’s cool.
Well, his original base was basically just pachinko, then he made it fire based, but Sanji took the fire person angle so this change makes some sense.
I think I would I was just trying to figure out how he could go through two years of training to get stronger as a sniper without becoming a hardened killer.
@Nio37 it's not like usopp is directly killing anyone
Anime Toukei true enough the original Usopp pirates are his friends on his home island of Syrup Village, Carrot, Pepper, and Onion are the names of his crew in the English dub
Maui Randall honestly I can think of a few scenes where he goes straight for the kill shot and the enemy only survives because they dodged
Here is another messed up scenario. Imagine if someone "mainly Luffy" mistakes them for candies
I think the concern is anyone other than Luffy doing it.
Mushroom grew in him he should be fine
Luffy: "Yummy!"
Everyone else: "How did you survive that?"
@@ThatDragonGuy Luffy:Nani? survive what?
Usopp should really aim for the mouth if you successfully land any of the pop greens that like an instant kill, imagine the humandrakes from the inside 😬
Y'know...in theory, a Pop Green has its own ability to use Haki...
I don’t think they could awake it on there own ( due to the pop greens lacking sentience) but either usopp can use his to increase there power or possibly have his awaken Haki in the shot popgreens
Plant is sentenit it just acts dumb
After This Arc Usopp is going to start firing Swords out of his Kabuto
Ussop starts shooting tonttatas
Your day is highly blessed when you see a God in the title of Tekking's daily uploads.
Yes!!!
Does he live alone because he screams way to much
Maybe the reason they don't just keep growing and spreading when he shoots them is because they need a specific environment to thrive. So when he shoots them they use all the energy they have to grow but after a while they can't sustain themselves and die before they have time to spread or grow more seeds. But the ones on the Sunny are kept in a state where they can grow some, but not enough to do any damage. So maybe when he first plants them they're dangerous, but after a while with proper gardening they chill out and just keep producing seeds.
BRO WHEN HE PRESENTED THAT TOMATO I CRIED
I grew Roma tomatoes in Michigan when I was a kid, they're the BEST veggies off the vine.
Me too!! because I was cutting onions!!
There’s a plant in Australia called the gimpy gimpy. Lightly touching it causes pain that feels like, being burned and electrocuted at the same time, also can be described as like acid burning on your skin. There once was an Australian general in a war who wiped his butt with it, and would rather die than deal with that. And did I mention that this pain can last anywhere from 10 months to 10 years.
Damn that could actually pass as a pop green and of course it in Australia
Heh and there even crazier plants out there
geoshark12 like???
Ngl I though tekking was gonna mention the gimpy when he got to the end section
why does anyone still live in Australia?
Fun fact: Fungus aren’t plants, they are a different category altogether called “Biota.” This was decided because fungus act completely differently to almost every plant known in the world. Since Pop Greens are plants, there wouldn’t be any Fungi variations as that would have to function in a similar manner to Fungus, which don’t use seeds.
Literally like 5 minutes ago I was wondering if Matt was going to release a video today and he delivered

if ussop was an inspector would his saying be "God-God-Gadget: Pop Greens?" or something
Kizaru:I’m here for that “really potent weed”
Usopp should eat the haze haze fruit
Probably the cultivation process he uses that keeps them from fully growing, actually gives the plants a short lifespan. Like regular plants, if conditions are not perfect some can grow fast but wither after a short moment.
Like Spider-Mans webbing being biodegradable but strong so you don't see it over all the buildings but can hold a criminal and support large weights
A native plant in Ohio is called Jewel weed, or touch-me-not, which when the seed pods are brushed against by animals, will burst and buck shot the seeds in different directions to spread, as well as stick to animals for distribution. I could see some kind of pop green like that.
Talking about Usopp for 40 minutes can make every man crazy enough to believe that Usopp is real 36:19
There's actually a relatively common tree that grows here in Brazil that we call Aroeira-Brava, which roughly translates to "angry aroeira" (scientific name Lithraea molleoides).
You touch this thing and you'll have the worst allergic response in your life.
The area you used to touch it gets swollen as balls, itches like a mother fucker and pustules prop up from all over it.
Takes some days and lots of medicine for it to settle.
The only way you have of removing the fuckers without touching them is just dealing with everything else besides it and then just burning the fucker down.
The fucking worst.
Anyone missing the Tekking Tumble right about now?
3:43 lol imagine usopp getting the grass sword. Zoro would be jealous
Aside from the moster trio we haven't seen the other Straw Hats engage in combat often ever since the time skip, what is a shame because one thing I want to see more of ever since the end of Fish-Man Island arc is Usopp's pop greens.
I think I can come up with an excuse for why the plants act different when planted rather then shot, a lot of plant in real life have defence mechanism for there seeds specifically if the seed is broken , e.g apple seeds contain cyanide, if the seed remains unbroken then they are harmless, maybe the explosive transformation is triggered when the seeds are broken rather then planted
It's "GOD" Usopp.
Strongest character if considered human. Passive Ability -> "Converting lies into truths".
Usopp has the water water fruit but is so humble he doesn't want to make his captain look weak with his true powers.
@@mentalpopcorn2304 actually he has the Oda Oda nomi, or "Kami Kami nomi"
So the rubber band of doom? Maybe Uranus is something like a rubber band?
Thatd be op in a rpg just say I will win this battle and you win
Oda said he wanted a botanist on the crew. Plus Noland was also a botanist.
I expect to see some dope plant shit because honestly.... idk what plants will do to the fighters in the new world.
Ussop went from a Ranger to a Ranger/Wizard to a Ranger/Druid.
I hope he becomes a tamer by then end
Nah, he multiclassed into Artificer first, then Druid. Easy mistake though
@@christiancasaverdepertica1802 Is Artificer out yet? I thought it was still Unearthed Arcana.
@@blaster23456 Yup, it's official now. It's in the Ebberon campaign books, and actually has been for a good while
Pretty much, my boi got the spell sniper feat as well
Some plants need specific methods to grow. Some seeds need birds to eat them and then poop them out and that's how some grow
Like avatar the last Airbender when they see the burned down forest you see a lot of seeds in the grown start growing as some plants need to be set on fire to grow which is why we see forest fires all the time. That's natures way of growing plants.
Some other seeds have hard shells that need to be broken open so my guess for the pop green is the heavy pressure of being thrown activated the plants to grow super fast.
Just my guess as a semi serious Gardener
Edit:forgot to mention air. The wind carries plants to be grown and even spike covered seeds get taken from place to place as well. Oda is making it super Anime but a lot of the pop greens are in line with real world plants.
Additional info:some trees are molded to be shapes in chairs but still alive so the Kabuto makes sense in being able to be shaped into a slingshot
The plants literally grow in peoples heads and in cement lmao, there is no explaining away this rubbish.
@@personperson9094 yeah I felt tekkin should research more. I had a few plants that were almost dying so much I looked like a husk but I overwatered it and it grew back. Plants are very durable overall.
Also the Kabuto could be water based as algi or any other plant that lives in the water.
Tekking: (forgets that brook can run on water)
Brook: hold my beer oh wait i can't drink anyway because i'm a skeleton
yohohoho
He can drink, we've seen Brook drink before, just don't know how the hell he processes it.
@@byno3862 we also know that he poops
@@FrancisR420 Yes. And eats, just like any other human would. Though in the second half of the Sabaody Archipelago arc, after the time skip, we see Brook in the concert, and after the first performance, he pours a bottle of water on top of himself, and we see it pour into his bones, and just on the floor directly below him
I just imagined that every once in a while Usopp goes back to the scene of a battle and harvests some seeds from the pop greens he used there, but if Oda wants to claim that Usopp gets all the pop greens from a garden, who am I to question it?
Thank you for making this video been waiting for this for a long time
Two thoughts-
I think it sort of make sense- maybe when thrown- a certain kind of pressure activate defence/offense mode of the pop green.
The island is violent, so there usually this how it grow, but when it grow in calm envirment it come out ae pretty flowers- but it's seeds still contain this mode.
Second thought- Usop in d&d 5e is a wizard.
nah he's too durable to be a wizard, artificer maybe with REALLY good health rolls
I wonder if Usopp has like a hydroponics bay on the Sunny to grow more Pop Greens, that small garden doesn't look big enough for all the different types.
A "cluster bomb" Pop Green would be terrifying, it would basically transform whatever area Usopp shoots it at.
Ussop: The ultimate vegan sniper.
25:15 That's a great point. I wonder if the impact wolf could actually hurt Big Mom since it's stated to damage the persons internal organs. Because Big Mom's extreme durability is because of her skin, what if you caused an attack directly to her organs? I imagine the fight going like a bunch of samurai and a few of the straw hats against Big Mom and suddenly Usopp uses the Impact Wolf against her. Suddenly she's reeling back in pain, clutching at wherever it hit her and everyone looks at Usopp like, "YOU CAN HURT HER?!?!?!?".
And Usopp is like "of course I can I'm a matha*#@&*#% God Usopp"
Nice! I was hoping for a video about pop greens.

Ultra Ultimate Attack: The Pop Green That Grows The Actual BOWING ARCHIPELAGO!!!!!!! Dont ask me about the logistics but DAMN!!!
Tekking mentioning venture bros has made my week, was not expecting that reference of knowledge
A possible interpretation for the plants on the Sunny I just came up with is that the plants Usopp shoots are like the "baby" form. Like, they're very hostile at first to stake out a place to grow, then they calm down into the small form later to save energy.
There's still the issue of him seeding the plants all over the other islands though. He's probably dooming them unless people go through and dig up the plants.
Usopp is probably my favorite straw hat
Botany is everything.

Some plants work largely on cloning if you ever seen a spider plant they will put off long shoots with little flowers on them and then the shoots will grow leaves and a root system and get so heavy it collapses a few feet away and the shoot rots.
There are also some plants that have energetic ways of spreading their seeds like the squirting cucumber which grows pressurized and when it's ripe it will detach from the stem and spray out all of its seeds. and there are flowers that grew in a way where when their seed pods are Disturbed they pop out of one position and curl into a less stressful position flinging all their seeds
Thanks tekking i just so happen to be looking for Plants that could potentially live in a dangerous poisonous marsh and the Manchineel is just perfect.
@Tekking101 Hello there, if you happen to stumble across this comment from the endless sea of comment, then you pretty much know the deal here, this is my 11th repost from a comment i made from your santoryu video. I've been reposting this comment a bunch of times already, and you didn't notice me. All i wanted is for you to look at this one question, just one simple question and that's it.
My repost escapade will continue on until you notice this comment., just please, notice this
, so i can stop.
Here's an interesting question that might peak your interest(and possibly make a video about): Is there life in the Red Line? What i mean by is, what if there are other civilizations on top of the red Line other than Mariejois? For example, you have Mariejois and Reverse Mountain at the opposite sides of the world, and the rest of the Red Line seems to be empty and barren... or that's what most people think. Being the only continental landmass in a world where it's mostly ocean and islands scattered through out(+ the White Seas and the Sky Islands), you would start to question if there is someone, or something, would live up there besides the World Government and the Celestial Dragons. Imagine what could be living up there, like, different factions, different species, all that stuff. Like hey, if there's people and animals living in the sky, then there should be people and animals on the Red Line as well... if oda decides to do that... kind of. Also, Here's a quote from Nami of how she describes the Red Line: "The Red Line is like a group of islands connected together. The Red Line that crosses the Grand Line has its own Summer, Winter, Spring, and Fall "islands".
I have a theory - what if
*USOPP IS ROCK D XEBEC*

Usopp is definitely my favorite of the post timeskip group , he trained on a island filled with carnivorous plants and made all kinds of cool plant themed weapons , I love post timeskip usopp.
Hey tekking love the videos and keep up the great work. I was wondering where did you get all of your wall scrolls from
i love watching tekkings videos after listening to one piece dnd cuz it sounds like william is explaining one piece
another game that reminds me of usopp is Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath. you use living ammo in the form of bugs and wildlife that have different properties when you fire them. it was a cool game!
love your stuff just an idea think if Usopp (my fav char) can find something like our sandbox tree \ fruits AKA dynomite tree its spike tree that have fruit like the blue pumpkin on skypiea and the way that the tree spread its seeds he make the fruit go C4 and its just like shrapnel grenade that then grow more trees like it that just keep do the same thing, if he could make pop green with it like pop green shrapnel grenade it will be BADDASS btw the sharp part in the shrapnel grenade are full with venom sap thats scary look it up, love you thanx ^^

27:40, that's more of a game mechanic thing, than a full-fledged game.
I mean it's basically what the main puzzle solving thing is in Botw. You have your basic abilities and every shrine asks you to use them differently, with multiple possible solutions.
8:57 my thoughts are maybe its that plants defence mechanism and so the seeds it produces is most likely just its defence, but can also be used as a wepon for others if stolen from the plant possibly, but thats Only my thought on it
that's a very nice succulent Mr. Crawford
I like how usopp's moves have
"Star" in it and he shoots them from a 5 banded slingshot.
Also "shooting star".
My headcanon about the pop greens is there was one of the rare plants that explode or shoot their seeds on the Bowing archipelago with a twist. The seeds grow upon impact to catch prey. Then Herculesun cultivated multiple versions of this effect from the different plants on the plant island.
Another thing that peaked my interest is that have you guys ever notice on the island that Ussop train on there were giant insects as well those could have been extremely useful and just like the pop greens he could have also farmed insects
Tekking with the AVGN reference just made my damn afternoon 😍
