Hi Kimberley, Zaide is a Yiddish word and the pronunciation is Zay dee. It means grandfather.

I’m so happy you showed Campfire, it’s on my local rose society sale list but I’d never heard of it! I was happy to see Toscana Vigorosa too. That and Pomponella are on my list for next year!
Lantana can be invasive here in NJ. I grow it in pots because it’s so pretty!
I love how they use the Anemone, Gaura, Sedum, Verbena, etc. It’s so great to see companions I can grow in my zone! :). Thanks for posting this.

You are welcome. I am so glad that you enjoyed this walk. I didn't know that Lantana was invasive is some place. It is so pretty.

That purple daisy- like flower is not a hardy geranium it is a fall aster. Some black spot can be expected this time of the season. July is prime time. That orange flower is likely a helenium. Bonny, Ontario

At 3:08 on the corner is a companion plant. Did you ever find the name of it? It was repeated. Lily pad type leaf structure and orange/red flowers.

I wasn't sure and asked my friend Yvonne. She thinks it is nasturtium. I hope that is the name of it and you are able to add that to your garden!

@@TheRoseGeek also found out they are considered a trap plant that attract aphids away from companion plants.

This was September 2023. We coupled it with the Palatine visit.

I hope this video is not taken recently. I’ll be real sad if Ontario has longer growing season than my area 🥹

This was taken in September. I have just been really behind in my publishing. Thank you for watching.
