You had mentioned once that you have no luck with hybrid tea roses; is that still the case? Have you tried any new species? I live in zone 7b, northern Virginia, i was just curious because I’m interested in buying one; although I just bought some new David Austin bare-root shrubs 😊
I am finding that the modern varieties have a fighting chance here. If they are earlier than 2010, I typically don't try them. If there is one or two that are calling to you, give them a try! You may have better luck than me.
