Since you like haunted house stories, here's one from when I lived in a sort of haunted house: I ended up getting talked into sharing a house with an acquaintance because the friend who had signed the lease with her decided to co-habitate with her boyfriend instead. My housemate was constantly having supernatural experiences in that house: hearing footsteps, seeing shadowy figures crawling across the floor, lights flickering and doors slamming for no apparent reason. When she let one of her friends crash on the couch for a month while he was searching for a place he could afford, he swore that whenever he was in the living room alone, he heard a woman's voice calling to him from the kitchen. When she threw a party for co-workers (lots of alcohol and many slept on the floor upstairs because they weren't sober enough to drive home), they swore someone shook them awake in the middle of the night and claimed to hear ghostly laughter. The only weird stuff that happened to me happened in that twilight zone between awake and asleep, so I can't say if it was a ghost or just the tail end of a dream. My housemate's explanation for why so little happened to me was that the house itself wasn't haunted, it was a spirit that had attached itself to her and followed her from place to place.
My partner and I are moving into our first home next month.... The homeowner recently passed away (not in the home, thankfully). I figured I should check this video out. I'll keep you posted.

I don’t think I’ve ever heard you play the antagonist, and you played this role perfectly. Despite the nature of the story & the resultant death of a supposed friend, the main character was quite matter-of-face and even arrogant, but I assumed it was because of the relationship situation. But very gradually your blasé calmness began to show a hint of arrogance which slowly progressed to murderous malice. But rather than acknowledge what he is, our murderer blames his behavior on the victim and the depression he dealt with after the betrayal. But as we all know, depression-even deep depression, rarely results in the perpetration of a scheme that deliberately terrorizes innocent children & pets. Nor does depression cause you to methodically drive someone mad until you finally strangle them to death. What’s fascinating about this character is he proudly admits to deliberately terrorizing a friend’s family and murdering his friend, but he can’t admit what REALLY caused him to behave so horrifically, and that is that he is a psychopath! You did a superb job portraying this character as he went progressed from completely normal (if conceited and condescending) to completely mad. This is not only a horror story; it’s also a case study on what a psychopath can look and act like! 👍💞

Imagine how much a haunted house would be worth! Cern's particle accelerator looking for hidden or new particle physics cost $12 billion so far. Imagine you had a house that was just tapping into unknown physics like ghosts all the time. You could get government grants, the military would want in, con Edison could figure out how to power nyc, nasa and esa would pay to study it, imagine weightless ghost powered rockets, or energy that doesnt produce carbon emissions. It would just be an absolute gold mine, literally billions if not trillions of dollars.
Perhaps that's one of the chief reasons why it's common to see UFOs flying about & hovering over areas where supernatural & paranormal activity is thoroughly heightened & pervasive. I can only imagine that such unnatural & otherworldly forces & entities give off this type of mystical yet potent energy source that the UFOs can draw from & perhaps fuel themselves with. There is a link, a connection, as such areas that are awash in both supernatural & paranormal activity often have this incredible magnetic pull for UFOs. Think the Skinwalker Ranch out in Utah!
@@taylorahern3755 skinwalker ranch is interesting because when Bigelow bought it they were sure a big magnetic meteorite was causing all of the anomalies and thats what they told the defense dept. 2 seasons of skinwalker ranch and a million videos on RUclips it hasnt changed, its probably just a very magnetic object causing devices to act strange and that is the only thing ever recorded on the ranch. No ufos, no portals, nothing. Which lines up with known impact craters in the Uintah basin. But if they could have proven anything paranormal it would have sold for billions rather than a few million as a set for tv show.

@@gdtestqueen there are a few cases in the 70’s where homes would sell for 50-75% over asking price bcz they were listed as haunted 😊
Brilliant plan, challenge the incorporeal entity to a fight. You can't touch it, doesn't mean it can't touch you. Then going to sleep right after? Just the topper on the cake.
Absolutely love this story thank you. Clear calming voice smooth delivery
With great content 😊 very good to wind down to at night especially when im struggling to sleep 😴😴😴
i finally caught up and watched this whole playlist. the animations go so well with your narration. i have the option to watch it but not have to watch it in order to understand the stories. more please! ❤️👍
This was excellent! Loved the twist at the end
I could already see the twist coming, from the tone and mocking description of the friend xP
I do love a good revenge story. Especially when the recipient gets exactly what they deserve! 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😁 subscribed.
Ohhhh I do love me some lighthouse horror stories!
Loving your channel! Your voice is also lovely. You know exactly how to deliver a story. Makes washing the dishes fun haha
I love this man's voice. Perfect for these audios
Love the animation, please have more of it in future stories.
Had to come back and listen to this one again this was so amazing to me a ghost story creepy and all without any ghost, a true masterpiece this one needs an award
Yes!!! Haunted house/building stories fantastic.
Bravo, I was just thinking how it would be a twist if it was all just drugs and tech but you one-upped it with that last twist! Well done, great writing and narrating!!
Love the tittle haha. And oohhhhh the twist 🙈!
Always looking forward to your narration LH. You make my day!! Thanks!!
Okay, that twist was chef’s kiss!!
AWESOME story man I freakin LOVE your stories!!!!
Your stories about haunted houses are the best it would be so wicked if you could make some longer haunted house videos like maybe an hour or so longer me personally the longer the better!! I listen to your stories at night I have severe anxiety and they help me to relax and unwind so I have made it my new nightly habit to listen to your videos because you are the master of telling the most awesome betime stories so I want to say thanks for helping me out
That twist at the end was very well set up. 🙂 Thank you, LH. This was very well narrated.
Rule #1: Buy a carbon monoxide detector. Rule #2: Find out who's gaslighting you :)
I usually like the hour long stories for bedtime listening....but these short stories are great for half hour lulls at work! This one was up there with the best! I only listen to Lighthouse Horror for audio! Loving your work all the way from 🇬🇧 🇬🇧.
This one was so much fun! I love the illustrations. More scary stuff pretty please!!!!
I tried to make my stories have this kind of flare. But I don't have artists that wanna draw, so I use low-quality images off Google, and it sucks.
You are so fortunate!
Waiting for the carpenters to come and fix the (non-existing) ventilation in the apartment. This was a great way to keep me awake seeing how I needed to wake up early to wait for them
Thank you for being awesome!
Another great animated narrative you're the best 👍
thanks for listening Donna!

@@stephenm3470 👻👻👽👽😜😜😄😉
I was not expecting that twist. this is actually a really good one. Love your videos btw
SPOILER:
Called it! The second he started saying his friend stole his GF and was a huge jerk I was like “yeah he killed this dude”.
lol
I wasn't sure what to expect, a human, ghost or deamon ...
Like in "Rules to follow if your child is a deamon" - or a similar title.
That one had a good twist too, as well had the one called "How to survive a witch" ... 👻 😈 👽 👹 💀 🙃
Shi....this was too good omg, literally no comment, the story line, the plot, the narration literally just the best
Fantastic story, I love this type of creepy.
That was FANTASTIC!!! Expertly written, expertly performed. Bravo!!!
Imagine being able to afford a house haunted or not
Rule 12.
Buy the house regardless of the warnings, because the housing market is going to kill you anyways. If you're gonna die by a ghost, do it as a homeowner. It's a win-win either way.
