I had red wrigglers when I lived in Northern Ca. I hope you have as much fun and success with them as I did!

I used to dig and sell worms to the bait stores. I have never had Red Wigglers.

Red wigglers are supposed to be the best way to have black gold (worm castings) on hand with little to no cost and effort. We will see!!!

How exciting! I hope they adjust well. How soon will you be feeding them kitchen scraps?

Right now I have them in the basement with a light on them for at least a day or two in hopes to help them settle into the new bin. I may start feeding them tomorrow, I'll keep you posted.

Glad I watched your worm vid. It reminded me to check mine. I had thrown a bell pepper top in there with the seeds still attached for their food. When I checked it, it had sprouted. I just uprooted and fed those to the little guys. Found you on "Small RUclips Homesteaders. We subbed. We would appreciate if you would do the same. Godspeed.
