Having multiple omni negate monsters on board paired with hand traps was just not a healthy and sustainable for this game. Huge W for the banlist for once.

Because i play rogue, the bans on the two biggest synchro bosses in the game really only gave my deck a papercut. But the hits to the floodgates and the omnigates...*chef's kiss* we needed more interaction in the game.

Even negates aren't necessarily so bad as long as they don't destroy so you can keep using the material at least.
For now it seems good till gets to the point where there interruption goes off every time you breathe in.

hitting the SE end board was the right way to do it it doesnt matter if you have 10 copies of SE ash etc in your deck if you cant make sick cards with them
yeah especially Apolo, their only oppressive Generic Boss monster only Appolo, and she dies with one Triple Tactic Talent, after one bait, we steal their apolo to have Nib protection and negate flamberg, also promethean princess, then we can go with our OTK lines.... imagine their face when we steal their apolo... Now TTT and Thrust have more meaning against the so called COMBO DECK that have 6/more Negations...
The only reason I'm sad about the baronne ban other than RA01 made it accessible, was the fact it was my boss monster in my dumb Infernoble/Flameswords man deck using Harmonic Synchro fusion gor Ultimate Flame swordsman & Baronne with Ultimate Flame swordsman material
They just weakened weak decks honestly

I kinda feel bad for Baronne. As it was the best wind synchro negate that I know of. And Speedroids are a deck I really love, and they lock themselves into wind synchros a lot. I hope it won't be hit in Master Duel.
22:22 he's right there is a Shift. Now we have to probably go to older Format but use more Links and Quick summon methods.
Sam I here what your saying but the generic extra deck cards but letting Konami put something in the place of those cards sounds a lot better for an example stop creating new archetypes for a while and work on the older archetypes and bring them up to par to the newer one so we have a plethora of decks that can be played next give each deck an Omni negate an a targeting negate an a way to recycle one of those cards by doing certain steps it can monster , trap or spell it will be. Something like the chimera deck but there won’t be no need for generic cards in the extra deck no more everybody forgetting that the top-tier decks aren’t the only decks out there the card cost for getting the generic extra deck cards out is low unlike the older decks it takes 3 to 4 carts out of your hand just to make a baron what’s your thoughts Sam??

Ones like Baronne, Borreload & Anaconda should've required cards from their archetype then they wouldn't be so bad like Fleur Synchron, Rokket Synchron & Predaplants in general would've been better
Honestly kinda happy they banned Baronne and Borreload Savage Dragon, Linkuriboh kinda iffy about but i understand. Malicious going to be unlimited is gonna be interesting...
Edit: Omni-Negates should be limited to stricter summoning requirements, if Baronne used *exclusively* Fleur Synchron much like Chevalier de Fleur does, then i might be a little more forgiving. It's the generic tuner/non-tuner combo (not even tuner-synchro/synchro) that kinda makes Baronne Omni-Negate annoying.
They're only coming for the generic omnis to make room in the game for new ones that people will have to buy

Think an actual sign they wanted to lay off of omni negates is stuff like mirrrjade fire king kirin, s:p all being interruptions but not out right negates, but with that said no ones hit predictions had those on the radar, but also i wanted to buy qcr baroone but for some reason kept delaying it to my relief now.
Im running 3 Mali for Chaos. Core of Chaos can banish and Mental Tuner can recycle it back to the gy. I just wish they had better light/dark synchros once you get locked going first cause at best herald arch light/ chaos angels for protection
Colossus is usable in new yubel. Definitely going to side colossus for specific situations
Well, the best use of the Nemeses Triad is having a tool to side against Shifter Decks. In fact Snake Eyes (all variants) now have a way to punish Shifter Decks in a way since Nemeses Flag is searchable with Bonfire
This banlist ain’t do nothing but help extend HERO combos 💪🏾
They need to do this to most of the OP generic cards or simply update them to be based around specific types or attributes instead of being completely generic since some of these are only bad because they can be played in anything. Also should look at adding a bunch of "unaffected by..." boss cards to the ban list as well since they prevent you from playing the game by forcing you into a situation where you may need to run stuff you normally wouldn't just to deal with that one card. Also don't think they should have hit summon limit just yet, atleast until some generic link monsters are banned.

@carbonunicorn5759 - Adapt and create new plays. This ban list have forced me to change my play style to going first or second. I no longer need those two Synchros or Linkuribo.

@@Everythingislorefunny aside im pretty sure linkuriboh is the most impactful hit on the current banlist to snake eye. it gives them an imperm/veiler dodge and protection on appo. like snake eye can play without barrone and borelload is completely irrelevant in the current meta, but linkuriboh, while a irrelevant hit, still the better one on this banlist specifically.

I am actually fine with the list cause it actually makes the game a bit more healthy cause of the turn 1 omni negates was actually insane and just ends the game for people that don't have a kaiju or something to get rid of it.

They've banned the right cards. It's just that they missed some other cards. For example, banning Apolloussa, Anti-Spell, and Skill Drain. Limiting WANTED, SP, and Bonfire (too early for it, but it must happen), semi-limiting all handtraps (that one is my personal petition), and unlimiting a bunch more.
Semi limiting all hand traps is goofy and limiting sp is a clown take as it’s a perfectly balanced card everything else I agree with

@madgameplay4658 , handtraps take away the playability of many decks if used consecutively. Some of them make decks die too quickly with just, for example, an Ash Blossom or a Dimensional Shifter. Knowing that not all decks have a play with just one card (one-card combos), to consistently denying them to play with an array of handtraps is not balanced. A ratio of two handtraps of each one is balanced for all decks. Some decks can't even afford to play too many of them due to their playstyle, so...
Why the whining?
S:P Little Knight has great playability in many situations with different decks. To have access to another after losing the first one in a play is a very frustrating experience for the person who has to deal with it. I mean, you have your hands full with just one in many plays. If you call that balanced, well, maybe you think it's balanced to keep Bonfire at three until this meta dies despite the similarities in power that have with a card like ROTA.
Before bringing your cents...
Make an analysis based ON ALL OF THE GAME, not just for one or some decks.

My dreams have finally came true
I mean the SE mirror was just really cringe and uninteresting. When everyone started just running a minimum of 15 hand traps it got drastically worse. It also felt like you could interrupt the deck a good bit but it still just always seemed to have the tools to otk with raging phoenix zealantis. Then post side it turned into summon limit being an FTK unless you drew the out to it and double omni negates. There was also the issue that the deck was a minimum of $900. All of that just makes it seem like a no brainer that people disliked it far more than Tear despite Tear being a way better deck.
Snake-eye has access to a fusion card that burns your opponent then u can send it away to bring it back again to burn and repeat it’s a bad card
tbh would virtual land become a viable rouge strat? it ends on a shifter and you can play non engine

I have no idea what Konami need to do to make me come back to this game. Maybe if they made the game simply affordable I'd continue playing, but the game isn't nearly fun enough for it's price point for me to have the motivation to keep playing it. This banlist was a nothing burger honestly. Protoss, Baronne and Savage are the only things that matter, and you know they only did Baronne and Savage because they got reprinted recently.

I play dinos and my endboard "was" savage,chenging,Apollosa or accesscode and UCT and also linkuribo was a step for my full combo, i might be cooked
for me this banlist is so sad because baron is my favorite card and I wish they limited some snake eye card because it's annoying.
Its about everyone using her not about Snake Eye.
To see how much has changed since I first played yugioh and understand how annoying it has become when it comes to hand traps, bounce backs, 5+ negates, etc. It shows just how well they can harnesses our negative emotions and manipulate us to continue in society without any knowledge or feel to it..

The next format will be otk based so there will be decks like tenpai dragon dogmatika blue eyes chaos max ancient gears the dragon link is more rogue now as they will have to play blue eyes dragon link again as they can still use spirit dragon crystal wing photon lord and hope harbinger so I think snake eyes will have to rely Zeus and zelantis now in order to stop otk decks and dark world is in a great spot right now they are now playing dragged down to the grave to out or bait handtraps
Baron and link no need to ban them. If you can't play around them, then get better.
