Ooooh! I'm so excited about the new Cowboy Romance series! I mentioned this in one of your Lives at the beginning of 2024, but Gwen Hayes has a very quick read (only like 80'ish pages) called Romancing the Beat. It's all about the romance plot beats and it's great for romance story structure. Romance is my #1 favorite genre (I've read no spice to ghostpepper spice level. My pref is generally one or two open door sexy scenes tops). Jude Deveraux is my favorite pure romance author. I'm also beyond thrilled to get to read the revised TS5 and your teaser from your 2024 wrap up...this has me THINKING. Oooh, I also love the idea of the supernatural / criminal minds book! Yay! I love SN. Have you seen Netflix MindHunters series? It's about the beginnings of the FBI serial killer investigation team. My goals for 2025 are to complete my self-edit of my draft and have beta readers (probably pay a Dev Editor too) for my first novel and have it ready to publish by March of 2025 but hold it back and begin the plotting and drafting of book 2 in that trilogy. I am attending a conference in New Orleans in March about indi-publishing and marketing so I am very excited about that. I hope to rapid release books 1 and 2 at the end of 2025 and have book 3 in that trilogy ready for publication end of Q1 - 2026. Happy New Year Claire!
My goals as a first time writer is to finish my novella protodraft, then take a break from it before I start the additions, I also have a very long series that I would like to try to write out, originally I wanted to make them into a manga but decided on trying illustrated novels instead.

As for me, my plan is to finish the first fiction book I have ever written (I started writing last July). The plan is to finish publishing the chapter on Royal Road by May. And then? I don't know. I hope I'll have at least half of the second book ready by that moment. And will move to KU with the first book. We'll see :)
