- Hello, in this video I show you how I made damask steel for the second time. My initial billet was 13 layers, 7 of 1080 steel and 6 of 15N20 steel. I made two folds until reaching 52 final layers. I'll try to make the raindrop pattern. The handle was made with Cabiúna wood. Watch the video and check how it turned out, leave your like and comment, promote the video to help leverage the channel. Olá, neste vídeo mostro como fiz aço damasco pela segunda vez. Meu billet inicial tinha 13 camadas, 7 de aço 1080 e 6 de aço 15N20. Vou tentar fazer o padrão da gota de chuva. Fiz duas dobras até chegar em 52 camadas finais. O cabo foi feito com madeira Cabiúna. Damasco sem forja a gás, sem prensa hidráulica, sem marteleite e sem matriz padrão. Aí sim, pode se dizer que é verdadeiramente artesanal.

That is a beautiful piece man. I wanted to see you do Damascus and you did top job. I haven't seen the new vice and it was bit clever to use it as a press to start to set the welds after folding. متشکرم دوست من. تیغه را در کوره آهنگری قرار می دهم تا آرام آرام خنک شود. به این فرآیند آنیلینگ می گویند. این به حذف سختی مواد کمک می کند، زیرا در این مورد مواد ضربه و اختلاف دما زیادی را متحمل شده است، خوب است فرآیندی انجام شود که در آن دانه های فولادی در یک راستا قرار گیرند. 👍👍👍
