I'm not knocking this shop but let's clear up some misinformation from the comments here: My 16 Camaro SS 6 speed made 415 whp stock After 2300 Heartbeat, rotofab intake and tune it made 551 whp Fuel system is just about maxed out Car runs great. No problems at all Had this setup for 4 years Love the power this kit makes. I have Mickey Thompson ET streets and it hooks well in first With just the Heartbeat kit and the tune they supply a 6 speed usually makes around 525 whp Every dyno is different so it is important to get a BASELINE before you start upgrading To run E85 blend you need to upgrade fuel system The ZL1 (LT4) is most common
@@antmac4284 I have extensive mechanical knowledge. Maybe the video made it more complicated than it needs to be but if you're on the fence already, it doesn't take much to push you back. I have a 2015 Camaro 1LE with some minor mods and very low miles. I just don't know how much I really want to do to it. I think a few thousand would be better spent on a lift in the garage.
Thought the same thing, my buddy's 2016 2ss with magnussen, long tube headers, E85, picked up 155 gain at the tires.

Does the supercharger increase exhaust sound?
That’s good considering stock everything. I would do the intake, exhaust, E85 and retune.
Wow. I was expecting more than a 100 whp gain.
Same if I spent that much money I’d be disappointed to the max
yeah this setup is a joke and that heat exchanger is WAY too small.
This is a setup for ppl that don't wanna push the limits of the car. More of a safe supercharger. They make ones that push the limits as well.
Agreed!
Ok but did he tune it though
How much for some like this cost
At least 10k, gotta think about supporting mods
@@hadenfrench1561 does that include upgrading piston in that 10k?
@@josepineda9740 no, that’s why I said AT LEAST 10k, shit gets real expensive real quick
nice job, kewl seeing step by step nice build on that camaro !
That's awesome!
put in a hellcat supercharger for that sexy whine
Awesome video 👍
Will this have problems with the v4mode??
We typically tune out the DOD because most our customers want performance.
Most of that power gain was probably from the short throw shifter. Procharger is definitely the way to go after watching this lol.
Is it necessary to change the shifter?
It is not necessary! This was just at the request of the customer.
@@BlackdogSpeedShop thank you
I'm surprised you found a shop that has someone that knows how to drive a standard transmission.
Lmao 🤣
That's it only 100hp.
Wheel HP
0-60 time?
Dang why didnt he go with the 2650
Well i dont know what his goals are but a 2650 on stock LT1 fuelsystem kind of unnecessary LOL.
That’s a Lot of money to only be at 500whp 😣
I was thinking the same thin
it makes the same as the zl1

45k for the car and 10k for the supercharger. it's better to buy a used zl1
Isn’t it supposed to have 455 bp stock?

Lol. There is a lot of info out there now. You could probably do it with basic mechanical knowledge.

@@ghostyxo2839 over 10k miles. No problems. I did the LT4 fuel system and swapped the pulley recently. Running a little more boost.
May as well just buy a stock 5th Gen ZL1 and save a ton of money
Good point however your picking up a bunch more weight. A Gen6 Camaro SS and a Gen5 ZL1 is a much closer race than you think.
All that shit to gain 100 rwh?
Fuk that.
