Hi, I'm trying this right now and I reduced the amount of chains for the back part to 45 from 50 to make it fit to me, but should I reduce the amount of chains for every single part of the top (e. g. the back panel from 72 to 67 etc.) or just certain parts?
take your measurements and adjust the pattern the pattern according to your size. if you are bigger than me, you can make a longer chain (eg: my chain for the back is 50, you might make your chain 57 for it to fit you.) and vice versa, if you are smaller than me you can make a shorter chain for the front and the back panel.
hey i don’t think that’s a hdc, a hdc is yarn over, insert, yarn over, pull through, yarn over, pull through all three loops. i don’t think you were doing the last yarn over you just yarned over, inserted, yarned over, and then pulled through all loops. idk what stitch that is. this is constructive please don’t take this the wrong way, it’s interesting. i suppose it gives the same effect anyway, and this is a beautiful top! i’m obviously on this video because i want to recreate it ☺️
Yeah it’s like a half double crochet slip stitch, I’m not really sure what it’s called. It’s supposed to make it look knitted. Have fun recreating the top :)
