You know what they say "never trust a skinny chef"... and I'm always weary of a overweight doctor that tells us to loose weight🤣🤣🤣 so don't reduce those portions too much. thank you for this recipe I will definitely be indulging in this meal. I make meat pies quite often during the winter months and I just love the idea of making them in a muffin tin. we don't eat big meals anymore and these are perfect.

I made mince and onion pies yesterday, I used pie tins... I ate one and it was good. Next ones are cheese, onion & potato. Those pilows look great, I might do that... thanks for the tip.

I make small savory pies (including pork pies) in muffin tins like that all the time. It's a perfect size for a single serving for us nowadays and they do freeze beautifully.
The sesame seeds are a nice touch as is a sprinkle of some fennel seeds right after the eggwash and prior to baking. Not everyone likes fennel, of course, but in our house they're very popular on savory pies of this kind.

Good to see you back but I hope you aren't over-doing it. These little pies look ideal - I love having something in the freezer all ready to go so I'll make up a bundle of these so I don't have to resort to shop-bought pies when I feel the urge. Many thanks for the great video and take care :)
Hi Mr Paul. I really feel for you with ckd. I have just gone on hemo dialysis 4 times a week. I went on it when my efgr was 10. Prior I felt dreadful now I feel so well and am doing things I couldn't do before. I've been on it for 3 weeks. It's a horrible disease that creeps up on you. In the U.S., many supermarkets sell "deli" (cooked) chicken. Could this be used rather than uncooked chicken?
A friend of mine is gluten intolerant, is it possible to use gluten free flour for the pastry and corn starch for the filling?😊
