would love a video of the Best for each application. such as - best for AR556 best for AR 308 best for AR 300blk best for each caliber and each rifle such as AR and bolt guns. then would love a video of - most quiet to least quiet for each caliber then best for - each round even if not the quietest for us poors dont know anything about silencers

So on your site. It mentions the 718 Inconel JL uses the surge bypass technology not the sniper 2 that the TI JL uses. So would that one perform better on a gas gun?
Great video. When will you get a restock of WB 718s? Last time It seemed as though almost no one was even able to put a new order through on for one the last restock because 99% of them were spoken for by pre-existing orders (that us consumers can’t make, only distributors). A little bit frustrating how this process is being done for us consumers.
Two questions..will the huxwrk hub mount work with the cat hub suppressors? I ask obviously because the huxwrks mount seem to be longer than the cat flash hiders. Not sure if it would hit anything internally while torquing down? Also do y’all know when the back ordered cat short rounds will come back in. Ordered one right before they stopped making em this year. Thanks
The HUXWRX HUB mount should work, but we would have to test it to be sure, the internal "cage" on the Huxwrx mount could potentially interfere with internal geometry. We're hoping to get more SRs soon, but not ETA as of right now, you're going to love that silencer though, its amazing.
Thanks for the fast reply man. I’ve already ordered the short round, mobster, wanting to get the wb and odb 718’s when they come in stock. In stock notification ready…if you could test out that huxwrk hub that would be awesome! That would confirm what cat suppressors I need to get. Thanks
CAT ODB Focuses on use on semi-auto gas guns, has higher flow characteristics to better suit those gassier applications. The JLs primary focus is precision rifles, it is built to maximize accuracy and sound reduction.
please tell me, as someone getting its first suppressor I am between the ODB and this (JL) in inconel (718). Is the extra weight and length noticeable? I plan to run this mostly on a 10.5" 300BLK (mostly supers), with occasional (rare) use on a 18" 308 build. I don't plan to get another 30Cal suppressor and I'm worried it would be too big/heavy for the build I have...? Also how does it compare to the ODB with 300BLK supers or 308? THANKS!
For the two platforms you listed I would go with the JL, but I would consider getting titanium due to the weight savings. If the 308 is an AR10 platform, the ODB is probably the way to go.
Different cans for different uses, this is really designed for use on precision bolt guns, where gas is a non-factor. CAT makes a semi-auto focused model, the ODB.
CAT's edgy, hype beast marketing is so cringe. "We're using super secret military technology but lucky for you it's trickling down to consumers". Yeah, sure. They're giving Q a run for their money.
Who cares if they're having fun with the marketing. Talk all you want about it but their cans have been showing very impressive results PROVEN by empirical data provided by Pew Science, not hype. Even Jay from Pew Science says he gets a crack at their marketing and it's not good for people to take things so serious all the time. Look at how serious Dead Air and Surefire market themselves and look at how things turned out for DA with the S5 disaster and surefire with the RC3 close tine flash incident. Now their cans are getting beaten out by cartoon characters. Lighten up fudd
They are trolling the big names in the industry. I personally don’t care anything about the marketing as long as they sell a kick ass product. Seems like pew science is proving they do with the data 🤷♂️
@@corruption2.066 they perform “fine”, nothing groundbreaking, but that’s ok. The technology is cool. But their warranty sucks (unless they updated it). No coverage for accidents. Both models use SNIPER 2, thats remedied on the site now, good catch!
How does this compare to the ODB? Thinking about going Inconel
From what I've read the ODB is much lower back pressure while the JL has much more back pressure.

CAT has said they're doing more WBs soon, backorders are a combination of dealer and consumer.
How's the gas blowback on a semiauto? Particularly Rattler LT
CAT is working on a different silencer optimized for the rattler, but the JL does a good job!
What are the barrel restrictions? And can you run these on 5.56 guns?
You can run it on 5.56, 16" barrel or longer for 30cal projectiles.
14 1/2” pin and welded hub work for this?

Why is the Inconel version more expensive than the titanium version?
Could be due to material cost.
Could this possibly work on the 8.6 BLK?
It would not, 8.6BLK uses a .338 bullet, JL is rated for .308 rounds.
CAT is planning a .338 silencer this year!
What are the thread size on the silencer
Will a Griffin Armament HUB mount work with these?
Yes, Griffin Dual-Lok should work fine.
What is the difference between this and the cat ODB?
CAT ODB Focuses on use on semi-auto gas guns, has higher flow characteristics to better suit those gassier applications. The JLs primary focus is precision rifles, it is built to maximize accuracy and sound reduction.
Thanks Fellas. We like a Lefty with the balls to put a sniper product on a shorty semi. Respect. 🫡
Testing all sorts of different hosts, putting the JL through its paces, and it excelled at everything!
Does the internal flash hider cause residue to accumulate inside the can ? Seems like it might.
No more than in any other silencer, and you can clean this super easily using CAT 206 solvent.
I didn't know Chase was wrong handed
Wrong Eyed, its his greatest weakness.
