This mod is so fun and one of the main reasons I play this game so much, giving the objective of maxing out your character gives so much more depth and adds variety between each run, 10/10 would recommend
I don't like the mod too much, since I consider it far too overpowered, I am considering the use of a few items though, since you can disable all that you don't want to have. I might use Medkits with a high price and one-time use. I would use Hunter, if I could configure the value of the samples, but it doesn't seem like I can, same with Bigger Lungs. Fast Encryption and Bee Keeper potentially, but with much higher price and I would also want to change the values a bit to tone them down a little.
They’re super expensive aswell, it’s not like you have a chance to get everyone of them in a single run consistently, and like the one guy said, you can always change the price in the edit config

I never entirely found out how the Alternate item progression worked. It disables buying upgrades so you have to find some unique scrap? and selling it in order to added to late game upgrade progression? never got it to work despite living to day 17 If I understood what it’s trying to tell me in the config settings would be nice, I probably need to change “custom scrap” to something specific I’m assuming.
just found this mod but i cant seem to buy anything? I used lgu t see the list but when i try to buy it does not recognize the item. An example i typed "buy strong legs" which didn't work. is there something else i missed? Edit: I can do "info strong legs" but not buy 2nd Edit: so it looks like you dont type "buy" just the fullname of the upgrade
1:44 Fast Encryption seems kinda pointless imo. Messages don't stand out as much in the text chat, & you can already send unrestricted messages long distance if everyone has a walkie. I wish it used the yellow box that tells you when you missed the drop pod instead (like the DiscountAlert mod).
Im curious, are the upgrades supposed to rollover? Cause everytime i start a new save file with the better save files mod, i still have one of the upgrades active on me, is there a why to stop that when i wanna start fresh?
UPDATE: Lethal Lib dependency needed to be reverted to previous version for upgrade to work. Hopefully they get it fixed so we can be current. I can see the upgrades but they cannot, but it wasn't like this before and everyone was able to use it. Do you know how I can fix it?
Same bro. It's unfortunate because it looks really fun, but when I buy upgrades they are not shared with my friends, and they cannot purchase any upgrades for whatever reason. Also the credits doesn't sync, I think the mod is straight up bugged rn. Edit: I think I found the solution. If you're using the latest version of LethalLib, it doesn't work. You need to use v0.13.1. I downgraded it and now the upgrades work just fine
@@IDyn4m1CI Me and friends found out it was the dependency Lethal Lib that is having issues. We reverted to the previous version and loaded it up and now Upgrades are working! I hope they update it
@@Jangz_ It's not abandoned, you need to download the right version of the dependencies (as listed in the LGU page) otherwise you'll get desync issues like this. Once I figured that I played a ton with my friends with this mod installed with no issues whatsoever

Anyone know why the mod causes so much desyncing? Me and my group uninstalled more company like it asks but there will frequently be times where an item will be picked up but others still see it on the ground and if you try to pick it up it reduces your weight and causes you to be way too fast?
A lot of times this desync is caused by people who have the dedicated slot mods. Such as the dedicated walkie-talkie or flashlights. If other people don't have those same mods, it causes a desync with the items on the map, and their locations won't be updated until the person with said item drops them somewhere else.
the movement speed increase is measured in seconds. I don't understand. does that mean seconds to reach the same distance at max stamina useage or something??
are the upgrades supposed to carry on to next session? i bought some upgrades when playing with my friend and when we play again the next day with the same save file all the upgrades are gone and the store shows option to buy lvl 1 only. is it a bug or is it supposed to be like that? also we tried to test by buying 1 upgrade and play at least to the end of the day and fly the ship, after that we exit the save file and get back in and the upgrade is gone?
Thank god that shi isn't real. Despite the prices, the mods provides an ability to achieve these upgrades so much easier pretty much trivializing the game

They don't by default. This can be altered by the config file if you don't care for it. You can also adjust the prices and the chance of the teleport item being destoryed.
The config file actually accounts for this. You can adjust a lot of things, like make upgrade full-on unavailable. You can also adjust the prices for every level of an upgrade. Some upgrades can even have their specifics altered, such as enhanced scanner being able to spot enemies through walls.
thats why config files are important you can balance it to your needs. im playing with a lot of mods that make the game hard so these make the game actually playable and even with them we get wiped.

There's a terminal command that can wipe the upgrades clean if i remember correctly, should be said on the mod page
You might also have the option to keep upgrades after getting fired on, check the config settings
Could you do an updated guide on the contracts for this mod?

The night vision is kinda bugged, if I have them on and rejoin the game I lose it and have to buy them again.

You need to reload the LateGameUpgrades client save. Type lategame in the Terminal for more info!
2nd might be a glitch, 1st thing though check the config as you might have an option on that does that under the “misc” section
