I don't know why my comment from last time is not on here anymore. As someone who drives a forklift and used to load flatbed trucks it would drive me nuts when a driver wants to strap early. Let me finish doing what I'm doing then you can strap down. Just in case there's something that needs to be changed or a mistake is made. When I was loading flatbed trucks I used to hate that. Drivers would say time is money yeah well loading your shit right is also important too. I don't understand why drivers just can't wait till the flat is loaded before they starp down. SMH!!!!
And as a forklift driver you can tell drivers to sit in there truck. As in many of my video I ask the weight how there stacking it so there should be no re work. Also if your fixing the load cause of weight it in the middle but do you and we do us. Be safe
@tollboothjimmytrucking. I wouldn't tell a drive to sit in there truck. I would kindly ask that they wait ta strap. I understand time is money. Loading it right as a forklift operator is also time and money. If I fuck up cause of an impatient driver, wanting to strap ASAP. Then I've wasted company time & money.
@MattIglehart I’m not inpatient and it how it done out here. 95 percent of place don’t care and would rather you strap while loading. But we all have are own options and how we do thing
@tollboothjimmytrucking. so I understand your point of view. Just take a minute and reverse da roles. That will probably help you understand my point of view.
@@TheMensRoom2024 I understand but 90 percent of forklift drivers don’t care and would like you to strap while loading so you can get out of there way. I always ask and most of them don’t care. Watch all my videos and you can see all the forklifts do t mind it.
Tarp up to 8ft off the deck. Sometime you have to climb on top of the load with noting and sometimes they require harness which they prove. or a tarp machine.
I'm not a truck driver but I'm sure you're taught or trained to look before you fling straps over. They do have metal ends. Doesn't look and straps early, typical impatient flatbed driver.
I also mentioned this the last time I commented. Dude doesn't even look before he throws straps over. WOW!!!
Now this is what I like keep these video like this.
Bro your videos are helping me survive these first couple weeks lol
Glad I can help. If you every need anything email me
IMO, the units loaded already have tarped units. It's not drywall or osb.
