I always thought Amari Cooper was a good receiver with good route running but I didn't realize how good he was of a route runner until now. The Sluggo route was a thing of beauty.
Amari doesn't do very much to be excited about after the catch and he likes to body catch like Dez did but at least he has the ability to reach out and grab the ball with his hands and love's it out in front of him so he can chase it down like a Golden Glove left fielder. The best thing that could happen for the Cowboys would be a huge game right away from Cooper to take some pressure off Zeke and free up Beasley and Gallup. I still think the Cowboys can win and do something. This top defense is only getting healthier and better and an extra touchdown every other game alone would be the difference between 1st place and 3rd right now. And I think even more now that Dez would really make this offense a lot better.
Cooper is a top 5 route runner, just don't know if Dak can get him the ball. He will definitely open up the passing game as he always draws a safety over the top coverage.

Dallas play calling doesn't take many shots downfield. They prefer to grind out yds and run the clock, but with this defense, they don't need to do that anymore. Lets see if that philosophy changes.Cooper seems like a pretty fast guy, who can get separation.
