    I absolutely love Coop. We didn't draft a 1st round receiver we traded for one. Great move. When he's healthy no one can cover him

      Not Doree lmao so reading all legit sources that have been saying he isnt worries about his contract in dallas and knows it will get done , somehow makes me lack football knowledge? Its the one game where there is a round ball and 2 hoops on each side right?? Foh 🤣

      @NormanRockswell so with that logic...zeke is a average running back...because he had several games where he didnt get 50 yards rushing...d law is a average DE because he had games where he had 0 sacks....but....u say no tds??? Is that passing or rushing because ppl seem to forget that dak runs for tds too so what was it

    Watching this today and man is Amari Cooper a dynamic receiver. Speed, quickness, elite route running, great hands, seperation ability is top notch, and is one of the more quiet receivers like Julio who just lets his game speak for himself. It was weird hearing him talk on Hard Knocks, but I'm excited to see what he does this season alongside CeeDee and Michael Gallup.

They couldn’t stop Amari the whole game and Garrett calls a run play on 3rd, which the Vikes stopped the run the whole game, and then a fluke short pass to Zeke again on 4th down. Why not look for Amari, Gallup or Cobb smh. Glad Garrett is gone. The man was way too conservative.

He was on many Injury Reports, didn't play with the explosiveness and style he always played with, and even he and the Cowboys admitted he's nicked up. It wouldn't really matter, as the coaching staff and the defense/special teams was the main reason why the Cowboys lost a lot of their games.

      The advanced stats actually show that Cooper is inconsistent as a top end route runner, some games he’s incredible, some games not so much.
      Personally, I think what separates Coop is his combination of 3 things:
      1. His athleticism makes him one of the most physically dominant receivers when 1 on 1 (I’m a bama fan, and this was apparent mid season that his athletic ability would carry over to the NFL)
      2. He is as intelligent a route runner as any, reminds of Thielen, as his goal is to mask his route as something different and is the main reason he gets so open, his deceptiveness is top notch.
      3. His above average route running is also important. He still doesn’t succeed against man coverage as much as other alpha receivers, but his route running is consistent enough for the other 2 factors to make him a reliable target for Dak.

    It’s crazy watching Zeke occupy 8 to 9 players on play action. Dak has to get better in the accuracy department. Hitting the WR in stride is the difference from a big play to a TD. I hope the Cowboys give him a contract soon I don’t want our QB going into the 2020 season on a franchise tag.

      Jim Johnson No every single QB cannot throw the ball in small windows or read NFL defenses or adapt to NFL game speed.. I can keep going, but I’ll be here all day. And it’s not about hitting a WR on the run here and there, it’s about doing it consistently for four quarters and Dak still struggles to do that. Also, please don’t compare college football to the NFL that’s ludicrous! What you do in college doesn’t mean it will translate to the NFL.

    Very specific question... does anyone know if the Cooper TD vs the vikings at 9:00, is actually a TD if the ball goes to the outside of the pylon? I mean i know this was a TD and cooper was a little further to the middle of the Endzone which means it may have passed over the corner, but i mean if it did not. Like what if he was more towards the front of the endzone and the ball clearly did not pass the actual goaline, only out of bounds? I mean he caught it with both feet down so wouldnt they have to call it a TD even though it never crossed the plane. They couldnt call it incomplete could they? And if its complete then it would have to be a TD without crossing the plane...

    I think Andy Dalton might be a better QB than Dak. Notice how so few of these throws give Cooper a chance to gain extra yards after the catch, then go look at what Dalton did with AJ Green. AJ Green is a super WR, but Dalton seemed to lead him better and give him a chance to make extra yards more often.

    • @TheRexrapper
      @TheRexrapper 4 года назад

      Dalton isn't near Dak. Watch more football. Half these catches are comeback routes. It's much harder for a WR to get YAC off that.

      @@TheRexrapper 0:54, 4:19, 4:30, 8:36, 9:54, 10:03, 11:18 are all instances of Coop having to slow down or fall to make the catch that could've been much more.
      Now some throws Dak nails and accuracy isn't his big strength but at least two or three of those would've been long TD's if Amari didn't have to stop to make the catch.

    • @TheRexrapper
      @TheRexrapper 4 года назад

      @@Matt-wg9xn 0:54 agree 100%. Could have been a TD. 4:19 & 4:30 I completely disagree. 4:19 wasn't going to net much more than what it gained. There were defenders all over the area. 4:30 was a house TD if Cooper didn't lose his footing. Ball was exactly where it needed to be. I believe Cooper was so focused on not trying to drop the pass that he lost his footing in the process. Even Cooper was batting the ball after the play which let's me know he messed up in not scoring there.

    • @TheRexrapper
      @TheRexrapper 4 года назад

      @@Matt-wg9xn I don't think 8:36 or 9:54 are huge plays if the ball is placed more accurately. Maybe a couple more yards but that's it. Too many defenders. Cobb also didn't block at 9:54. 10:03 was actually a good pass considering how Barr was playing. If he leads Cooper that's an easy interception. 11:18 is definitely fair. I agree 100%. I don't see a bunch of plays on this clip where Dak was so inaccurate that huge plays were being missed. A few instances sure but not a lot.
