LOVE this set up!!! I've been using mine for almost a year now and just purchased a second batch of items to make my second machine!! Thank you so much for being so brilliant in knowing how to make stuff like this 👍
Hi jason. I bought your electroforming classes but I still have a big question, even before your amazing whey to teach. I know the amps are the most important thing to consider on the electroforming but, my rectifier do not set the volts automatically. So I would love to know how many volts I need for example when I have to set-up a ring with 0.1 amp? And how many volts if I have a necklace that a calculated 0.4 amps. The volts will be the same as the 0.1 ring? I mean, i have a maximum voltage that I can use until the pieces get burned? I really appreciate if you could answer me my friend, and congratulations for your channel.
Would I be able to electroform in my small room without dying of some sort of poison gas? Or do you recommend elsewhere. Would it be safer if I setup a fume extractor to my window?
Sweet, Ive purchase your recipe on conductive paint, got the stuff. Will get around to use, maybe this Valentines, i bought the lady some flowers, her fav, yellow and red, dont know the name but they look like fire, going to copper those. Atleast one rose. Anyhow, i got one of those 15a, 24v power supply from your last vid, now this comes up... oh wow! They do sell dps5015 version with 15a capacity, is it over kill if i use the 15a 24v supply to power the dps module?
I just received the power supply and im trying to set it up. I can adjust the volts and amps but when I turn it on the only thing that reads is the v and the amps and watts reads at 0. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. Thanks for the great videos by the way! Love what you do!
Is there a reason why you don't dial in the amps directly. I've seen other videos of yours and you seem to be interested in the amps that flow but you always dial the voltage. Why wouldn't you allow max voltage but limit amps to 500mA or whatever you need in your process?
For electroforming I let it drift to promote texture as long as you have a good range of shine like between .2-.4 amps per inch it turns out puffy on the ends. In electroplating you might want to lock amps to preserve detail. Many roads to Rome, one would say,

Same here! Have you figured out what the issue was? I would really appreciate hearing from you!
Crazy the size different between the dr meters and the DPS... kinda like inverter tig welder and the old beasts
Thanks for your wonderful work! I just wanted to ask about platinum electrodes. Did you try it? Its seems to be more clean. Best wishes 🙏🏼
I have not, That would be fun though.
When I sniped the cord of the power supply I found three wired instead of two. Blue, black and white. How should I proceed?
The power supply link seems to be broken. Is there another source?
Did I miss the link for the display? thanks

I'll volunteer to take the old broken power supply off your hands, how much do you want for shipping and handling to send it to Iowa?
Man your videos are amazing, but you need to start wearing protective gloves and moisturizing your hands or they are going to fall off in 5 years.
ya need to fix your amazon link if you expect to make a buck there buddy. 😉
