You have helped me enormously John, I am a retired neuroscience lecturer and I have always been curious about almost everything, I read and paint and do all sorts and I think what is missing is the confidence to give other people information that might affect their lives . I tried it with a couple of family members who had questions and I gave then readings straight out of my head, i later compared what I had said to the formal meanings of the cards and it had no relationship at all. That gave me the frights so I stopped , but from what you are saying I might be doing the right thing . Thank you heaps for this video, you are quite amazing
He did help me a lot with that advice. And I got very interesting insights thanks to this way of reading. Also, it helps me to trust my intuition and the messages from the cards.

Thanks for excellent videos :) I like to make the questionnaire mix the card while thinking about their questions until they feel intuitively that they're done. This always gives good advice from the cards.
How would I make the deck ready if I was doing it on a distance? If I was to record a video and read for someone in another location?

How does the card know for whom you are reading to?
If I reed for me I shuffle the card with my energy.
Who do I get the energy from someone sitting opposite of me or if I reed for someone on a distance via a video? 🤔💭🔮♒
I’ve never done a reading over long distance but I have recently been reading for a couple of my close friends and the advice I can give is this:
I’m not sure how other people feel about this but I will actually allow my friends to touch the cards a bit before a reading, I’ll ask them to look through the cards and notice the artwork of the deck. ( I usually use a deck that uses the imagery of cats when I read for other people ). I give them my own background understanding of the deck as they shuffle it a bit. For example, with my cat tarot deck I will let them know that although the artwork is very soft with cute colors and pretty pictures of cats, I tell them that just like a cat this deck isn’t afraid to show it’s claws and some answers to questions may be very sharp and sudden but that it is only like that because the universe has decided that this is what they need to hear. (This also helps them understand that tarot is a bit more complex than just a yes or no answer).
Another piece of advice is if they want a particular spread (for example a past present future) I try to ask them questions so that I may better understand what it is they seek to know from this reading I’ll ask if they just want a general reading or if they want a more specific reading on certain events (I do this while shuffling the deck myself and kind of repeat this process for each card.) for example: when shuffling for a past card I will ask them something along the lines of “so what is it that you’re hoping to learn from this past card? Is it along the lines of how your past is currently impacting you or is it more of just wanting to know what kind of energy you were being influenced by” etc etc. I think it’s kinda a hard example but I hope you understand what I’m trying to say :)
Third piece of advice I would give, and this one tends to come naturally and also touches on the topic of this video is that:
Begin to learn a new skill apart from tarot so that you can begin to improve yourself and make yourself a more knowledgeable and experienced person! When I first took up tarot I began to draw more and began learning different art styles and understanding the different approaches to art and how it’s a culmination of millions of years of progress. This helped me understand that tarot is very much the same way , and the sooner you can experience that, the easier I believe it is for you to be able to understand the energy of the person you are reading for and to channel that energy while you shuffle the deck for them!
A bit of a bonus tip I suppose but I also cleanse my decks regularly so that if I ever have to read for a friend I don’t have to worry about my own energy interfering with their reading :)
As a summary : When I give tarot readings for other people, I always try to understand and channel their energy into the cards, I will put out the intention that this reading is for someone else so the universe will know it isn’t for myself and I will always ask tons of questions to gain more insight into the reading for them :) I know it’s a lot but I hope this helps answer your question a bit!
