Recently I have been no chilling a 15L batch in a 19L Corny, then when cool enough pitching the yeast, adding a floating dip tube and sounding valve, when fermentation has finished Corny goes in the fridge to cool to fridge temp then carbonate and serve straight from Corny!
My last two batches have been in a 5gallon corny-keg. My grainfather has the counterflow chiller that uses very little water, but I still opt for the no chill because it saves me time, water, and cleaning. I just add a floating dip tube and I don't need to transfer to a bright tank/keg. I have gotten very clear IPA's this way.
Yep. Just did a brew a couple of hours ago. 2 cubes filled. Will put in the fermenter tomorrow. Did a couple of “quick chills” early on. Litres of water wasted, a couple of infections, just can’t see myself going back. Everyone has their systems I guess.

Hi guys I'm sure it's fine but I brew small batches and want to no chill, would I need to use a container for the appropriate size batch for example, 5lt wort in a 5lt container, also how long would the wort keep once chilled?
Do you adjust hop additions for no chill, ie. 20 min delayed additions long hopstand? I use 20 min delay and a 300 min 80C hopstand in my recipe in Brewfather, seems to work out ok.
Sounds like you have the right idea Mick. There are no hard and fast rules when it comes to bittering additions for no chill, but working off a 20 minute timeframe in recipe software seems to be common. Do whatever works!
One made of HDPE plastic. You can learn more here: ruclips.net/video/6UU1RTNoA9s/видео.html Or our original no chill video here: ruclips.net/video/HODvdjMcjlA/видео.html

Could throw a Kegland RAPT Pill into one of your cubes to measure your temp changes and rate

Jeez. In Australia Keanu Reeves is a home brewer.
What kind of bottle can stand that kind of heat?

If plastic is (cap also) HDPE, don't worry about swimming pool.
Does this mean I shouldn’t put into pool ??? I do this all the time (put in pool) corny kegs too !!
