Such a gentleman, and so under rated. The Brecker Brothers backing Benson would do him justice I would offer in admiration and respect . Its incredible what his career has spanned and how he still has that versatility, and of course the signature Ibanez.
A very special performer at the height of his abilities. Saw him twice in the mid 80s. The rhythm has him in its power. Just watch his feet. Not many singers do that.
He can sing and he can play guitar. A unique voice and superb to listen to. Jazz-rock-AOR fusion. G-R-E-A-T ! Also liked Michael O'Neill's shred at 6:00. Hints of Paul Gilbert in there. Or maybe hints of O'Neill in Gilbert....

Jim Hall is great, but he's not touching Benson on his best day. I would also suggest that this is not the video to watch if you want to see Benson go deep.
