Kool. Dig the sick 'Zaire'-riff and comedy rappers in Jungle-boogie. The prince-axe is +1 from Rivendell, lol, nice guitar Charles at 28.50, 49.40. Brass so tasty; 3 tp, tb,tn,alto; just like the Roland NY-horns patch. Ladies' nite, Get-down-on-it, are the real hits.. Celebrate a nice gospel-meets-wu-tan flavour, so nice. Thanks for posting. What an experience! An hour and 24 minutes of musical bliss. Ya'll are all right with me, Kool & The Gang. Huge fan over here. My favorite song in life is _Summer Madness_. Anybody that knows me knows that I obsess over that song. I listen to it at least twice a day. #anditsstillallgood

It's so good to see these guys of 60+, still have that energy, what a pleasure.
Wow, I played with Larry Gittens in an organ trio in Burlington, NJ. I was a kid on saxophone soaking it all in.
Even with all their success, still underrated.
One of the best concerts I had the opportunity to go to was in '74 with my girl then Kathy Phillips, my boy Dave Richardson, and his girl Pee Wee, at the Spectrum in Philly featuring Kool & the Gang, Billy Preston w/ thunder thumbs & lightning licks (before they were the Brothers Johnson), Graham Central Station, and Blue Magic. This concert brought me there again. Thanks for posting. Get down with the genie!!!

Amazing sound, amazing brass arrangements and most amazing how everyone not only plays their specific instrument flawlessly but at the same time are amazing singers too.

These guys are great- fantastic musicians. They actually played at my company picnic and I had the family with me around this time(early 2000s) in NJ . They were complete showmen and talented and put on a complete fun show. I wish my wife had not passed away 2 years ago as we started our retirement because how I would have loved to have brought her to concerts like this for the music we so enjoyed when we were young. Now all I can do is peruse the Tube and get a glimpse of what was to have been.

Ladies Night,Celebration,Summer Madness were my favorite STAND OUT Jams from them. MEMORIES groups change members sound changes but once it's recorded it's either good or bad . Pick what you like enjoy

I have seen Kool & The Gang 32 times in concert. They are great. Put on a great show every time out. The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame is missing one of the best band out there. 50 years in the Biz In Ness!

The best concert of them I've seen... Many musicians died or get out since then. Now they don't play music as good as on this particular live performance
Just prior to this I watched a TOP show. I really didn't expect what I'm hearing...been a fan since the 70's and knew the horn section was good...however this is stellar! I was kinda expecting groovy disco...Damn! This is Greatness!!!

I remember back N the Day, when I went to see them with my friend Micky we was little teeny bobbur, we had real live time, with the group singing the hits, like HOllwood swinger, and among the hits of early 70's I loved them and still do til this day!!!.................!!!
