@wolphertful haha, while watching it on the dvd like 2 years ago. i thought any big fan of maiden would know that, actually. I always see somebody commenting about details and i try to think how the hell they noticed that. i am not the "nerd fan" kind of guy, i just saw it!
This is probably the best live performance of a song I have ever seen from any band ever! Not only does it sound amazing but look at their energy and presence on stage! Its just breathtaking. There is no doubt in my mind that Iron Maiden is the greatest metal band of all time.
After watching this i've decided, I'M FUCKING GOING SONISPHERE!! I don't care if i what i have to do to get the money and i dont care whether maiden are the only band i will enjoy there. Nothing Will stop me being in the front row for This Incredible song!!
@chicanoofpersia Sorry to be anal, but Janick isn't even playing on this. He didn't join till 1990 when Adrian left, and this is from March '85 and it's Dave and Adrian playing. You can see clearly it's Dave and Adrian playing!
The Great part about this show to me is that Bruce isn't using a ton of reverb on his voice actually i don't think he's using any. Good part about that is it shows how amazing a singer he is.

The stage set up, the Eddie's walking around, the lyrics, the energy - the EVERYTHING. This is what Metal is and should be - Iron Maiden set the bar for all to follow.

I swear every time i see this concert i was Adrian's Les Paul more and more. Rofl that's a nice guitar. I'm actually compelled to get one now. hahaha.
