Well normally I try to use images 1920x1080px when I make the hero sections of the websites and you can make good videos too a good idea for the videos is to compress them by exporting them with media encoder and then use an mp4 compressor and that will make your a perfect website friendly video!
Is there a way to put a collection inside a collection? I wanted to have a collection that would branch into the types of portfolios that I want to show and have each branch into their related projects.
I think I understand that but i think is possible to do with another theme and I think a good approach will be to try other themes from the adobe portfolio collection!! thank you so much for your comment! if you have an adobe subscription you can get free hosting for you adobe portfolio (it's hosted in the Adobe's clud so you dont need any storage for it ) the last step is then link it to your domain! I think I should make a tutorial of how to do that part! for Adobe XD you can run it in almost any computer and there are a lot of tutorials here in this chanel! check out the ux/ui course in courser it's tached by google instructors I tottaly recomend it!

Especially with projects that consists of more categories photos, logos, illustrations etc. this is very helpful to filter. Not that I know of! I think I will check to see if is possible to add some sort of filter for the portfolio but I'm not completely sure about it I will get back to you with an answer as soon as I find a solution! Did this video helped you to get your portfolio designed ?
well there are multiple was that you can use to make this type of one can be using premier pro or after effects and play with the video blur and that can be done there I'm not sure if you can do this directly in the portfolio settings but that's the way I would approach and try to solve the issue! did you find this helpful?

Hey, how's your website rated on Gtmetrix or Google page insights? I've made my portfolio website, but I am facing issues when rating it on these websites. I get a Lighthouse Error: The page did not paint any content and still don't get it what needs to be fixed.
well I can tell that the hosting of this adobe portfolio sites is really good mostly you can get a separate domain to redirect using GoDaddy and then use GTmetrix on that! my current website has a B grade 88% and I think thats because I added a lot of video and Gif animations I think if I can make the compression of the gifs it will be a 90 to 100 grade what do you think ?

Good tricks at 3:15 is cool to know. The Adobe videos are so lame and really don’t teach anything useful. Your video is pretty fast but gives me ideas. Wish the layout you went with would push the possibilities off portfolio. Video was a nice touch early on
Well you mean the website itself as a pdf ? there must be a google chrome extension called GoFullPage - Full Page Screen Capture that will allow you to take a screenshot of the page and save it as a pdf!
when you upload your custom projects you can upload images my suggestion is to take screenshots of the projects and share them so people can see the progress of it and it also make the projects more interesting!
hello, I make those gifs using Adobe After effects in a thumbnail size and then I optimize those using Media encoder to reduce the size of the gif size and to add an extra layer of optimization I go to the website compressgif.com! @@LeoRivero Leo, my apologies. I think I'm just having a bad day. I'm sure if I listened more carefully I could have followed better, I stopped listening cause I know what I need to do.. I need to update my portfolio and I'm getting lost in the RUclips HOW TO'S with the INSANE amount of DIFFERENT ways to go about ANYTHNG.. because I'm realizing my projects are NOT very interesting. There's a lot of REAL ESTATE ADS that are.. BORING hahaha I'm also realizing how much RUclips is NOT an authority despite HOW MUCH CONTENT THERE IS -- remembering that anyone can upload anything--time consuming haha. I go to it for ideas and inspiration and then DISTRACTION as I learn about stuff I didn't know existed.. but WHO you are learning from is beginning to feel bothersome. some people straight up aren't correct or addressing the scope if an issue. I'm not saying you did this.. I liked your PRESENCE on camera.. your hair is amazing, you have a nice calm presence, maybe that's I lost you when you started to change HOW you were doing something and clicking all around. I was trying to follow without comprehending what you were doing--that's a MY ADHD PROBLEM, not YOUR PROBLEM...Be well, thanks for the videos!
@@jennarutig no worries! I'm here to help if you feel like your projects are not fun enough one thing that helped me get a great work was working with personal projects (fake clients) for example here look for the logo challenge list here are some examples :
1. Rocketship Logo (Aerolite, Axis, Comet, Quasar)
2. Hot Air Balloon (Lift, Crown (the very top part of the balloon), Whoosh)
3. Panda Logo (Panda Global, Bamboo, Endangered Panda Conservation)
4. Single Letter Logo
5. Driverless Car Logo (Autonome, Vrooom, Onward)
6. Coffee Shop (Dylan's Coffee, The Roasted Bean, Tazza)
7. Fashion Brand Wordmark (OAKAO, Deities, Adams & Abigail)
8. Ski Mountain Logo (Brass Peak, Mount Blanco, Traverse, Snowdrop)
9. Streaming Music Startup (Beat, Pitch, Bass)
10. Flame Logo (Sizzle, Liight, Flint & Flame)
try to design a logo and then try to create advertising a website and maybe some branding and boom there is a project on behance or you might try some ux UI design too if you feel like you want to get a job in that field trust me that works! it got me a great job in 2017 do you think I should make a video explaining how to make great fake client projects to fill out a portfolio with amazing work that can be oriented in the passion of the designer to help get a job that will see that specific talent I Just want to help and I like seen designers succeed!

when you upload the projects they automatically save when you publish the page if you have more questions let me know !
But my only question left is how will you know someone wrote their contact info or phone number there?
well, that's a setting that can be changed in the portfolio website itself you can add more inputs to the form and make some of them mandatory as well but is a good question I will make a livestream with Q&A since there are some great questions in the comments! let me know if this helps!

Good tricks at 3:15 is cool to know. The Adobe videos are so lame and really don’t teach anything useful. Your video is pretty fast but gives me ideas. Wish the layout you went with would push the possibilities off portfolio. Video was a nice touch early on

can this be exported to pdf?
Well you mean the website itself as a pdf ? there must be a google chrome extension called GoFullPage - Full Page Screen Capture that will allow you to take a screenshot of the page and save it as a pdf!
The only issue I have is wanting to show process of my work :(
when you upload your custom projects you can upload images my suggestion is to take screenshots of the projects and share them so people can see the progress of it and it also make the projects more interesting!

hello, I make those gifs using Adobe After effects in a thumbnail size and then I optimize those using Media encoder to reduce the size of the gif size and to add an extra layer of optimization I go to the website compressgif.com! I will make a video of this in particular so you can learn how to make this great gifs!
