I bought this system with 8 cameras. Here are the things I wish I knew BEFORE BUYING:
First, camera image quality is great at 4K. Also the image at night is very good. But ...
1. The e-mail notifications do not work with Gmail (confirmed by tech support) because Gmail blocks it and I also could not get it to work with any other e-mail server, even on my own domain server. You can use the phone app notifications as an alternative.
2. You always get notifications to your phone app, even if you disable it in the schedule on the NVR. I just disable phone app push notifications as you can still see them inside the app.
3. Light/siren alarm for the AI person detection also ignores the scheduling so it always triggers. Not very useful if you only want it e.g. at night.
4. PC app often does not load the image or crashes.
5. Phone app often does not load the image and you have to reopen the camera view to get the stream. Also it sometimes shows wrong time on the timeline when you browse the footage.
6. Basic functions on the NVR like recording and event detection works fine, but otherwise the software is quite buggy.
NOTE: I updated the NVR and all cameras to the latest firmware.

How does it work over the app to your phone?
I have right now is the camera first edition system. The only complaints the picture fades in and out depends what type of weather and what time it is maybe from the Sun probably helps cause this in and out of the picture screen. I have the new upgraded system like you got a camera wireless that's 2 TB. I know this first edition I had to have a tech come out and set it all up on my phone and my wife's phone. The tech Guy I found lives in our community he was here probably 30 minutes showing us the features setting up everything honest but it was already up I installed it as I got it hardwired to my router
Yeah I agree your customer service sucks. You can't talk to no one you got an email them and then they don't get back with me right away
Makes you wonder? They got to realize the program is screwed up?
Can I connect this camera to my (toguard DVR) or does it have to be a zosi dvr ?
If you could suggest the positions where the cctv should be fixed that will be much useful and thanks for the video.
I have the first edition zosi video camera system on my home. But I did buy the upgraded version 8 wireless cameras 2 terabyte hard drive. I know the first edition the antenna system I don't think what's strong enough the cameras to interact with the base unit. Videos with go in and out. Haven't put up the new edition yet just looking to see if anybody else is installed in but I see your system is the four camera with the leagues leading to the head unit. My first edition you couldn't hear over it or talk over it or did it have spotlight or warning siren on the outside cameras. Hopefully zosi corporation got that all taken care of no more In-N-Out pictures.
how do you do motion recording i mean that it record only when it detect a person
It would have been helpful if you could have shown how to record a portion or a video to a thumb drive, setting up your login etc.
I have had zosi camera c199 several years. Camera is still working but i cant reach on camera over internet anymore, work only at lockal network, same with PC app works only at local network. So if you want that app only to get watch cameras over internet at some other location then don't buy it. It local only is ok for you then it's totally fine camera to buy. So be aware!!!
Is there the option to have the system monitored by the company ? Like if I don t have my mobile near , they can see if camera detect intruder and alert response unit . I pay monthly around 25 £ to have my SimplySafe system monitored.
Bought this setup recently. Cameras go regularly offline. The online app keeps on loading even on fast Internet. Not recommend. Ian going to return mine
Hello! Is this NVR support privacy masking function?
The "RED YELLOW & BLUE Lights Flashing at night makes my house look like a frickin UFO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How do you shut them off? 8 cameras in the front of my house & the lights flashing at night are absolutely ridiculous
Same here. I can't find any functionality for them, do I'll put some black tape over them
@@johnvanpuffelen6350 It's supposed to be a visual deterrent but you can turn them off. Go to main then setup then Siren-Light Alarm. On the far right there is an LED column, simply uncheck the LED box to turn off the lights.

@@quietsparks1 I wasn't able to so I returned it and bought another system by REOLINK it's much more ,,, Subtle. I don't want the attention, Crooks would look at my house and say,,, What's in there?
Can zozi cameras work on a different NVR system? Not zozi?
do you know what the power lead is used for on the cameras ? its got poe cable and a dc cable which ive no cables for , cheers

Hello am having problem with this same system , I have five camera they all was working fine for 8 months now only one is working, I get a code saying to refresh the interface, what that mean thanks
Same exact system as my Loocam system. Basically looks like they just put a new name on it. My Loocam system lasted a few months before it stopped working. Trash customer support. What did they do, slap a new name on their old product because their reputation was bad?

@@tenehaglendening9246 thinking abput returning mine got them installed yesterday and sometimes some functions work sometimes they dont sometimes a light will come on and stay on i rest the pvr or w.e. yesterday and all the cameras switched postions and the names i saved for them changed Now the times are all messed up
I believe if I had it to over again I would purchase something different.

Can you connect NVR to wifi adapter rather than router as want to place NVR in a different room to where router is.
