Zosi we bought two zr16wk 16 cameras system and on one system 6 cameras stoped working and on the other new system it wouldn't even come on they are trash
I thought I was the only few! Why I stopped. 1. Software interface is terrible and confusing, no zoom function for a cctv?!?! 2. Within 2yrs I went through 2 monitors, it seems the HDMI output spikes my monitors! 3. Sometimes it beeps once for no reason. 4. VGA doesn't output signal! 5. It says POE but it won't work with another brand!!!! 6. Problems. Conclusion don't waste your time, time is money, I wasted alot of money to setup my business with Zosi
The Nightvision issue that you're having has to do, undoubtedly, with the properties of the components they used to build the NV circuit (it seems like a "well, duh!" kind of statement, but some may not understand that). It is likely that, even though the thermometer shows 105f, the camera's being housed in metal are likely getting higher than that (think cooking an egg on the sidewalk). This limitation can be circumvented by providing a shroud (if it's directly exposed to the light), an insulator (if it's shaded but still too hot) or even a radiator + fan. It would be interesting to find out what component is failing in the high temperatures, dig up the data sheet and find a superior high temp replacement, but my guess is that it most likely be more cost efficient to simply replace it with a system that can handle higher temperatures.
I have bad experiences with this camera system, because I bought the ZR08RP model and that has been a headache, the cameras did not connect, then we updated the video recorder system, it worked for more than a month and the cameras cannot be seen After updating the cameras, none of them can see the model of the cameras, they are ZG 3023. These cameras are absolute shit, it was an investment of lost money.
I have a ZOSI system as well and now 3-4 years later it constantly reboots and BEEPS throughout the night, it’s in my bed room so it’s even more frustrating. I upgraded the TB and the problem is persistent. I’ve reached out to ZOSI CS with no prevail. I’ve decided I’m going with a completely different dvr.
Not sure if my question is in the comments but here it goes….do you or have you ever had an issue with playback where some channels would be blank? And then come back? As if during recording a camera was disconnected. But that’s not the case. It works perfect with live feed. But when I go to review recordings I have missing footage.

If you choose a new system, I would love to hear what security considerations went into the choice. NVRs can be pretty easily hacked, if you are not careful (and the live stream sold online in the case of certain celebrities).

contact seller and have them send you a NVR replacement, most NVR use the same software. I personally never ever update software on NVR or smart TVs because they tend to cause more issues then it actually solves

i came across this issues with nightvision issues... i think there's a particular setting (per camera) where you can set it to full color mode which will override the auto nightvision problem part... Hope this helps..
@@Behfor If i can remember, i think you have to double click on live camera video and it will shop up in lower right corner the zoom in zoom out and tv color bar... The tv color bars is the icon to change to full color mode

Next I have no idea of what the camera icons mean. Small green square that sometimes turns yellow or orange. I don't know how to go back and watch recorded sessions. As you probably know, Arizona has towns in the mountains (such as Pinetop-Lakeside, AZ) where summer temperatures are much lower than in the deserts of Arizona; therefore, you should have said, "The deserts of Arizona" not "Arizona" when referring to scorching hot summer temperatures. Also, instead of "North California" you should have said "Northern California". Don't ask me why, but in American English we normally refer to "Southern California" and "South Florida" but not "South California" and "Southern Florida". Yeah, it's illogical; but it's the vernacular.

My Zosi cloud "news" feature" just stopped working a week ago for no reason. That's the tab in the app where it will show you the movements it detected in the day or night. I've spent hours and tried everything I can think of to fix it. Updating, checking permissions, unplugging and resetting everything. I've reached out to Zosi, but I don't think a response is ever coming. Does anyone know how to get this thing working again? Now I get no notifications whatsoever whenever there is movement.
Looks like u should’ve never updated that garbage firmware. They’re always trying to screw their customers to buy new products from them. Like updates from your phones to screw you 😂
I have a beeping sound. The it opens to the company logo and pictures shown out side but now menu options are not coming up it is not showing mouse cursor and I can't see any menus to go too. Would you be able to help me with my problem here? Thank anyways if you can't
That's why I always buy the 3 year warranty with my security cameras. If nothing else you could have been given a refund of the purchase price to put towards a new camera system.

hi, my zosi nvr system ZS V17.5 (8 cameras) works fine from 2018. The night vision of the cameras is perfect. I never did the upgrade of the firmware and I don't use the app ( I don't trust of china cloud) but I use instead my private link dns service to see the cameras from smartphone. I'm in Italy and obviously the max temperature in the summer is 38*. I'm happy to have this nvr...for now eheheheh

Nice videos. I have the ZOSI wireless with a different cloud software I didn't turn on for similar reasons as yours,, there us a local login on android. If these systems work then don't upgrade the firmware, its usually a one way trip that causes trouble. I also found that as the hard drive gets full the nvr slowly grinds to a halt and resets, I telnet into it and reboot every 21 days to keep it speedy. It was cheap that's why I bought it, I can live with it.

I Want to upgrade to 4K but I want to make sure that the company is good before I buy their products.

The arming device schedule do I keep that on 24 hours a day 7 days a week? And area edit I colored in all the squares is that correct. I'm not sure about p i r enable, and then enable square above it. When I try to set it up and I wave my hand in front of the camera I look at my monitor and there is a caution sign with an exclamation point. When I clicked on error type it said hdds are not found. Don't know if there's any other pointers you can give me. It's cool that you're still helping people with questions from videos you made years ago.
Sorry you had the camera problems with so much heat. I am in Florida and our heat must be lower since our cameras work fine outside. The only problem has been one camera that lost the gas charge and picture. Seems a rubber gasket around wire entering rear of camera had deteriorated in the sunshine. Crystal Vision did replace, free of charge. More recently the wall-warts went bad. All three were exposed to weather and that is my own fault, not camera system. I bought new power supplies and all is back to good again. Thank You Amazon. After the rubber gasket deteriorated I decided to place a shade cover over outside cameras. Simple sheets of metal that kept cameras in shade. One camera I did not use sheet-metal but I did use aluminum tape to protect back of camera and that seems to be worth the effort. Seems camera manufacturers could better protect wiring for outside units. My new cameras, if I find them, will have to have wider angle views that 78degrees. I was even going to find a backup camera with 140degree viewing and place them outside. Think that will work?
Wyze cams.. super cheap and 1080p video.. i have 3 of them and they work great. - I use them in combination with FireStick and tinycam app to view them live 24/7.. I have dedicated monitors live view of all cameras.
I have two Wyze cameras but I wouldn't consider them "security" cameras. Don't get me wrong they are great for what they do and for the price it's hard to beat. I really wish there outdoor camera had a wired option though.

No they are trash it's hot here in Texas and I put in 16 camera system and over half of them went out in 3 days

The signal problem could have been dealt with by using WiFi Repeaters.

If I remember well, you can use the QR code OR serial number to add a unit.

This is why I like the wired cameras...
Only the problem that he described isn't a wireless problem--it's a heat problem that prevents proper low-light mode operation...
It has the option to have it wired. All would have to do is buy the kit

One question I still have do you know if 4K cameras they have the clear night time lights do you know if those lights attract bugs.

To fix the camera in the garage, you could go into the camera settings and make it night vision 24/7
