- A man has been arrested after suspected human remains were found during a search of a property in Cork by gardaí investigating the disappearance of Tina Satchwell in 2017.
In a series of developments today, suspected human remains were located, with State Pathologist Margaret Bolster being brought on site, along with a forensic anthropologist and a sniffer dog.
A man in his 50s was then arrested at a property in Youghal. Nicola speaks with Niall Donald about the dramatic developments in the cold case mystery.

This is so sad. Husband said he left to go somewhere and when he returned she was gone. Just vanished and yet there was never any evidence to show she had left the house. Even her own family said she would never just disappear. Beyound shocking how surrounding areas were never looked at.
The reason it was upgraded to murder work done in the area some construction worker found a body part in a drain outside the property

Yeah this week the neighbour house which was just newly sold needed to call a plumber because the drains where blocked and have a guess what the plumber found in the drains in front of the houses. That’s why the Garda searched finally in detail.
So if it wasn't for this, the incompetents in Garda would be still saying its a missing person case.

Sorry I have only stumbled onto this murder case last few days so excuse my dumb question, but is Tina's husband age 50 or this newest evidence makes him completely without a doubt a innocent man for the non believers?

Nah they arrested him again when he was waiting at the bus stop this morning. They also searched his shed today which is outside of Youghal.
