I am still learning this stuff.... but for sure... this dude here is AMAZING person... I really enjoyed the video... and Tauri is lucky to find someone like him and we hope to build great Tauri community
This is the future, Rust + JS/HTML for UI across all platforms. I’ve developed desktop UIs with many other languages before and disliked all of them for being poorly designed. The ability to use ReactJS for a desktop app, combined with the speed of Rust makes me excited to develop with this framework and I can’t say that I’ve felt this way about any technology for many years. Keep up the great work!!
It would be nice to have more details on how it works in order to give feedback. Can I update over the wire? How different are the APIs on each environment? This done well it could be a game changer
Mobile developent is a little more complicated. To build mobile apps android studio (with the jdk) and xcode are required. This means for ios builds a mac is needed. The new company to make builds and deployments easier is a good idea.
Oooo! Thats so cool . Iv just started using Tauri with react on PC build this week and its so simple and performant . Cant wait to try builds for Android.
This is actually a very cool feature. Is there any prerequisite to get the iOS or the Android emulators like they needs to get downloaded for example in Android Studio or they will be available out of the box? Other question -> if I want to build a desktop app for Windows will I be able to do this on macOS? As far as I know albeit they saying that the Electron's packager is able to do this whenever I tried to build a Win desktop app on my mac and install it on Windows there were missing dll files and other stuff. Thanks in advance
Cross compilation is not available out of the box so far, but you can easily prepare a docker container based on windows base os image that will do the work for you
Wow, really great!
Literally checking daily for new official release with mobile
Great tutorial. Thanks for the efforts. Looking forward for more.
Please release it as soon as possible, all rustaceans will be pleased and grateful

Do we need to learn rust for working with tauri??
not really, but I'd recommend it
You're the type of social awkward I like bro haha great video and thank you:)
This is super cool. The important thing is using Rust in background reduces the build size
💀waiting to move from React native to Tauri Moblie
Hell yeah Jonas! Go Tauri and CrabNebula 🦀🌌
