Loooove this piece! The use of mixed media was very fun and elegant, ending up just the right amount of spontaneous. And that cat is adorable!
I love that you introduce us to how you make the shades of greens, very helpful color knowledge!
I love the idea of using all the media we have collected, it’s a great way to make a more dynamic illustration 👌
I LOVE your use of mixed media here, that’s definitely something I need to do more! It makes the painting pop and stand out that much more
Fantastic painting. It has such a comfortable feeling about it with the lounging cat. Thanks for the inspiration.
I love this painting! Really inspiring. Makes me want to test out mixed media.
Beautiful drawing/painting!

I always love your style, Teoh!
I love the brush marks and your colour interpretation here. I also like the texture ps created by the different mediums.
You make it look so easy!
Thank you Teoh, so many great ideas for using mixed media in one sketch, it really comes alive with texture and color 😊
Love it! Thank you for sharing the process of drawing :)
Very nice sketching I like how you show the techniques of using the different paints and painting over other colors and shadowing effects , I love the cat . Thanks for a good tutorial
oHHHhhh, the way that you've drawn this cat is absolutely adorable!!!

Such a great piece! I'm very inspired to try something in this style too. I had a cat that looked like that, she was awesome.
Thanks for the reminder to paint my plants, I used to do if every year but I’ve been a bit slack. It looks great. I hope you and your girls are well😊

Thank you! 😁
Love it!
FANTASTIC!!! :^D
Omg this is such a beautiful picture! You should scan it and frame it! :) ❤
A question I've always wanted to ask you is, when you draw café scenes or crowd scenes, do you use reference photos or draw in situ? I'm guessing it's a mixture of both, but it must be difficult to draw groups of people in cafes when they are coming and going so frequently. Many thanks for all the great videos!
If I'm on location, then I'm drawing live and not using reference photo.
Draw people who don't move much first. Anticipate people's movement also. E.g. If someone is at the cashier, draw that person first because he/she will be stationary for a while. Check out the tutorials beneath. There are too many tips and techniques for me to write.

Great video! Beautiful demo.
Would you mind sharing the type/brand of fountain pen you used? Is it India ink? I see it is not reactivating with water. I need one of those!
It's a Pelikan M200 fountain pen with SketchINK. These are waterproof inks I recommend www.parkablogs.com/content/waterproof-fountain-pen-inks-drawing
Love using mixed mediums w my water colors but due to (Mr. Arthur) in hands can’t use colored pencils & do all water color artist use colored pencils?
Tyvm.
Those traditional watercolour artists probably don't use coloured pencils.
Which watercolor brand do you use? (The most)
Daniel smith, winsor newton, sennelier, schmincke?
😅
I use Daniel Smith because it's more affordable in Singapore, and available.

First!
I suck at animals and buildings . Organic subjects that come in all shapes and sizes are easier for me.
