Doesn’t hurt to let people know about your store. Didn’t even know you had one until now. Maybe I missed a mention in earlier video. Checking it out now. Thanks!

Ever since I went to camping school ( popular private school so I changed the name) 40 years ago I still eat spc spaghetti straight out of the can cold on bread At home for lunch (not while at camp). I don’t heat it at all. Yummy.

back in the 60 to 70's crossing the Nullabor,, we learnt a great meal from the road trains,, HASH MAGHANDI!! Easy,,, take all the labels off your stock of can food, decided how many cans would feed all, ark up the fry pan, and empty the contents in. Great if one had a spare onion... heat up till bubbling, then serve!!! Every meal totally different. LOL yum

Also did you know the plastic inside the tin was in there when it was cooked at the processing plant, i dont think a reheat with low temperatures as you say woul be any different.

I remember being told it was lead, way back in the day. Used to seal it up. In any case ur would need to turn to gas, or liquid, to be consumed.

I freeze one of those plastic bottles and stick it inside the hydration pack. It keeps it cool but also saves some water for later. Maccas used to also give us large cups of iced water for free..(not sure if they still do that)

Hey Mark, good to see what you use when camp cooking and some good ideas for some. I have a similar setup but one thing I bring is a small packet of baby wipes can be used to clean a multiple of things like ya cooking/eating stuff and or a freshen up for your self if in the bush a few days (like the branch n berries n mud hole)

_“Me? I’m into cooking meals that only need one spoon to prepare whilst motorcycle camping.”_
Said no one ever. You’d be hard pressed to find something more niche than this.

Boiling water in a paper cup is a good visual to show an explain why you can cook food in a can safely. Its a common experiment done in school science classes. Lots of youtube videos showing it done.

My camping gear is the same as what I usually cook with but smaller... metal fork knife and spoon, basically same setup as you.
If just an overnight most times don't even bring the fire, just a few nut/muesli bars, or a slice.

Watched a lot of Marks vids... I was starting to think the same, ADHD, but then wondered if he filmed this after a recent podcast.... A FEW WHISKEYS LATER.... :)... Napkins Mark... I have in my kit, a dunny roll, flattened. Many uses.. nose, cleanup, fire starter, wipe your bum... best to discard the last one after use. Also good with a bit of water and clean the visor of bugs.
