Survivalist: Invisible Strain is an open-ended game about building a community after the collapse of civilization. You can recruit survivors by making them like you, or respect you, or fear you. You'll need to keep them warm, keep them fed, and build a settlement to keep them safe from zombies, looters, and whatever else is out there. Use stealth, weapons, or words to achieve your objectives. Currently it uses a randomly generated world, with a story mode to follow later.
This is the sequel to Survivalist (but you don't need to have played it to understand what's going on).
FEATURES
Talk to anyone
All living characters in the world have names and personality traits. They remember your actions, and their memories affect their mood and their opinion of you. They have their own lives: gossiping, eating, sleeping, keeping warm, working and fighting. Some will give you quests; it's up to you how or whether to complete them. They can be recruited if they like, respect or fear you enough.
Fight with guns, bow and arrows, or melee weapons
You can target your enemies legs to slow them down, or try to hit their heads for greater damage. You can dodge or block in melee combat - and so can your enemies. Different characters have different skill sets and can level up to improve their Archery, Firearms or Hand to Hand abilities.
Use stealth to hunt zombies, rabbits, or people!
You can sneak up on enemies and assassinate them, or just knock them out cold and steal their stuff. Throw bottles or chunks of meat to distract zombies. Wear camouflaged clothing to boost your Stealth skill. Rabbits and zombies both have a keen sense of smell, so make sure you check the wind direction!
Build a base, plant crops, set traps
As you recruit followers they'll need a place to sleep, a steady food source, and a fire to keep warm. Chop down trees, mine rocks, and look for other resources in the abandoned towns dotted around the map. Set pit traps for zombies and raiders to fall in, or set rabbit traps for food. Assign your community members different roles such as Farmer, Chef, Arrow Crafter, etc. Over time you can build a well-defended, self-sufficient settlement that even produces its own bullets.
Customizable character, Procedurally generated world
When you start a new game you can set up your character's appearance, clothing, equipment, skills, and personality. Or just hit the randomize button until you see something you like. Every game will have a new randomized map with roads, rivers, abandoned towns, and survivor settlements.

Keep your eyes peeled for a car/truck spawn in a base as it won't count as theirs and you can sleep in it and put items in it. Lucky enough in my current run to find one.
Oh damn you got really luck with that! Ill be fine rn with my tent thankfully but Ill be sure to keep an eye out for those if I start up a new character. Thats honestly a great occurrence as you can basically free load inside that base for however long you please
@@Pr1vateLime Yeah, I had built a base and while away trading I came back to find it destroyed and all my loot gone. It was an entire store that I took over and built a wall around. Crazy. Anyways, enjoying the series man. Thanks!
Damnnn lime, back at it again with the quality posting. Keep it up and good job surviving!
If you wonder how I respond so fast... I'm always watching you
Only the finest shit for you! Also that explains why I see a floating figure outside my window on the second floor, thanks for clearing that up lol.
You don't need to have the crucifixes on you, you can store them in a chest or something that you own and then use F9 that way you can have a little more space in your inventory
Oh shit alright! Ill probably keep them on me though just so I can keep count of how many times I can save before getting shafted by the game!
This is glorious, I been tryin to find out about "real survival skills" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you heard people talk about - Lidacoob Protection Percipience - (do a search on google ) ? Ive heard some interesting things about it and my colleague got excellent results with it.
WHOA, plant every single seed from that dead looter base and just let the rain take care of them while your busy doing something else.
Your farming skill will go through the roof planting 400+ seeds. :) By the time you harvest you be at least skill 3 if not 4.
Oh damn thats really smart! Ill plant some around then!
I feel uneasy whenever you didnt save after having bunch of expensive/hard to get item...
How about you keep the cross at certain amount, not having to much, nor less
Like you need to have 5 saving cross, no less, not too much, save everytime you got new one
Or you can store the cross and take the "save if got new" one xD
Yea I feel uneasy whenever I realize how long its been since ive last saved lol. Ill probably keep 4-5 on me as a precautionary measure
Cant wait for the next one
Be sure that there will be another coming!
