Thank YOU! Very helpful. Very straightforward and succinct which I really appreciate. I'm just learning WIX and have to say I'm super impressed with all that it can do.
Thank you so much for your detailed video! It really helped me understand content manager much better. I have a website now where I started off in the ADI version, but just switched over to the Editor version. I have a laser engraving business and I envision my main page having various categories of things I make (earrings, games, home decor, etc). And then within those categories having the individual items that I sell. I feel like this would be a great set up for me as I wouldn't have to recreate each page when I introduced a new item in a category - I could just change the description and pictures of the new item. I need to rewatch your video a few times to really understand (I'm not very technically inclined). Because I have a list of ~40 items already for sale (all individually listed on my site currently), I have to figure out how to connect them all where they need to be.
I have a question regarding presets - is there one that would work better for selling items in an online store? Would the Listings one be best? I tried the custom one, but I don't understand Content Manager well enough right now to make it work right for me.
Brilliant tutorial - I was wondering if you nw how to use tags? Would you add them as comma separated values within one box or have a separate column for each one?
Hi! Thank you for the valuable information you've shared on your channel! I'm wondering if i could pick your brain? I have a form page that I'd like to make dynamic, allowing multiple pages to look the same without duplicating them. Each customer should have their own dynamic page to upload a photo and fill out the form, and each page must have a special URL. I've managed to implement this successfully with code and data sets, so the uploading and saving of photo is not a problem. However, due to Wix's 100-page limit.I believe dynamic pages are a better solution. The challenge I'm facing is generating different URLs for each dynamic page, as they seem to change dynamically. I'm unsure if dynamic pages are the right approach or if you have any alternative suggestions. Your insights would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your incredible content and support.
Great job! I have been through several videos on this topic and this was so easy to follow. My question is…How do you create multiple portfolios. If I do photography and graphic design, how would I add a second portfolio data set?
Thank you for the tutorial. I'm setting up a Wix website for track and field stats. I have pages set up, but would I use the "Connect to Data" to manage these pages into a dynamic page?
Great video, thank you. How would I display all the available images that are in my dataset, at one time? So the user can choose a category or just browse all. Everything is in the dataset.
thanks for the tutorial, I've done it and it worked. i am created a content manager for a product, for example i have 4 product categories (A, B, C, D). what should I do so that when a website visitor clicks on one of the products from category A, the related content that appears matches only category A. because at this time when i click every product from category A, related content still appears in all categories (A, B, C, D), not only products from category A. sorry for my bad english, it's not my native language. once again, thanks a lot.
I like your video. Have you ever customized the Wix dynamic product page to add enhanced product features (like videos, audio playlists, etc) as repeaters like a related product repeater?
Thanks 4 sharing. I came across this still not sure why I might need it. I'm building a website for a school, I wonder if something like this might help with course descriptions or paying for individual courses. Anyway I would love to connect with you on building Wix websites for clients more. It's something I'm thinking of doing and would really like to link up about it.
Yeah that sounds like something you can do with the content manager. Feel free to book a meeting on my website at parrotdm.com if you want my input on using Wix to build websites for clients. I charge $100/hr for consultation calls
Hey, I did a course with you on Skillshare, and built my Wix website from that course. Thanks! I have a question, I have products that need information from the client for products that need customisation, ALOT of info, more than a basic form can capture. How would you suggest is best to do this? Content Manger or Client page? Thanks!
Hey Lulu, for super custom products I'd recommend using Wix Ascend to create a form that can take payments, and then adding all the form fields (the customizations) to that form so you can gather the information you need.
Hey Caleb, Thanks for this, wix does not have just the content manager now, it has members, groups etc, could you do another similar video, but using what wix has now in its apps section, as mentioned before the basic wix content manger is not shown anymore , unless I am in the wrong section ??
How can I make each of the items in my list searchable on my website search feature. for example in the rental site, if the page had a search feature )(not a filter) and someone typed in a street name, would the results for that match come up
Thanks for the video, I already do some collections and one of them conected perfect whit the item page and show each item but the other collection always showen the same first item in all the links of the other item. Maybe you can tell me what I´m doing wrong?
I have followed your tutorial, which is excellent, I use the same portfolio preset, but when I click on an image in the list page it doesn't link to the items that are in the media gallery? It gives me an intermediate page with an image and a link to the item page. I think you posted a workaround for this some time ago but I cannot find it. I have tried wix help but with no result. Any suggestions.?
i want allow users to upload photos and edit their title and captions to a pro gallery that is on visible on their page. I guess you could have an "admin" page with a login that would be an upload button looking to that database?
Great video. I have a question though. Could I make an edit to a dynamic page, to add additional content to a page that is NOT in my database? For example, if the database populated 6 fields for me on my dynamic page, based on the content in my dataset in the collection, but I want to add an additional video to the bottom of just 1 dynamic page, does Wix allow this? Or, must all content on a dynamic page be drawn from the fields in the collection database (ie, you cannot further edit a dynamic page in the editor)
Hi Chad, as far as I'm aware you can't further edit a dynamic page individually. Additions to the dynamic page template will propagate across all the pages. You could create a copy of the page as a standard page for those one or two unique cases as a workaround. Hope that made sense and helps!
THANK YOU SO MUCH! This literally saved me HOURS of time by being able to use dynamic pages. 10/10!!!
Great explanation. Very well organized!
Well friggin done, man. That made things much more clear for me. Appreciate the time and effort you put into it!
Thanks. More helpful that Wix’s own videos. Keep up the good work.
Hello
Thanks for your video, I am just starting out with the Contact Manager and finding it mind blowing but I will stick at it John
Thanks for taking the time to make this super informative and super clear video.
This is so helpful! Going to go apply everything I just learned. Really excited for the next level this will bring to my page :) Thank you SO much.

this was so much more useful than wix's tutorial LOL thank u for sharing!!
👍Good job Caleb! Question: If I have my online Store products already set up, how the Content Manager could be helpful for Store Product Collections?
Thank you:)
Great video and very useful thanks

Can you do this for products on e-commerce website?
Hi Thanks, But is there a way I can add in some filters for example when am have many countries and I need to filter them on the frontend

Please show me how to create a simple but yet useful search window that connects my clients to an anchor point on my site
Thanks a lot, can i customize the same for post page?

WHY won't mine show up when I view my site? I published, it's public, and visible...
I am having a conflict with my dynamic page settings the site menu, how do i remove the dynamic pages from my site?
