Larger Print Then Cut Without Hacks in Cricut Design Space v7.27.142

You're an amazing teacher! I'm not quite understanding how I could actually design a print then cut on 12 x 12 and then actually print on a 12 x 12 piece of card stock, then cut. Any ideas? I have a wide-format printer that allows 12 x 12 printing, but I need the sensor marks to be ON the 12 x 12 paper. Struggling! TIA!

Thanks for your question.
One thing to keep in mind is that even though your wide format printer can print 12 x 12 inches, your Cricut will only cut up to 11.5 x 11.5 inches in width, and this is just when you choose the Basic Cut. The length of your cut can be much longer when you use Smart Vinyl, but the width will not ever exceed 11.5 x 11.5 inches unless Cricut comes out with a wider machine. 🙂
However, you are going to get less space than that when you do Print Then Cut.
The largest you can make the Print Then Cut is 9.96 x 14.06 inches. That is because the space outside of 9.96 x 14.06 inches that will contain the registration marks and the Cricut doesn't do anything with the first half inch on the left, right, top and bottom. That's just--for lack of a better phrase--lost media.

4:26 This is terrific! I haven’t tried it yet, but does this mean that I can now cut out shapes like stickers; candle labels; boxes; etc. that will fit within the new, larger print then cut parameters?
