I actually admire the fact that unlike most wildly flailing horse kicks, a donkey knows HOW to line up their rear kicks, as a weapon, so a good kick by any Mammoth donkey that hits any canine is potentially very lethal for that predator...and I bet those predators learn REAL quick to stay away.

I was never lucky enough to have a donkey but my mule would sound the coyote alarm almost every night. They used the easement between me and my neighbors home as a coyote freeway. Horses and donkeys are good predator deterrents. My mothers Morgan stallion would chase off bears and wolves from the herd. Never had to shoot anything with him around.
Horses are good in a herd/pride
But Donkeys will preform Solo or in group effort
If its canine its dead, and anything smaller then a horse needs to bow out now XD
Willy is just waiting to f... something up.
Good boy. hold down the fort, haven't heard that in yrs, my dad used to say that
Beautiful area, fabulous shelter, wonderful donkeys! Glad to see good care, and a caring heart.
Willy is great. Love to have one some day !
I had a friend in Italy who worked Animal rescue and she told me so many stories of abused neglected donkies .
Why don't people who abuse animals arrested and put in jail for a mandatory 5 years?
What a Handsome boy!!
That is one nice shelter for Willie and his friends.
Interesting. Thanks.
Those ears up like laser guided radar, locked on. Then the warning shot of that alarm snort. "You know what's good for you you'll get away from here."
What a beautiful place! Bet the air is real fresh ☺ and those 3 were a joy to watch getting their brekkie 🐴🐴🐴 thanks for the share x x x (l know it was really about donkey 'doormen' but had to appreciate the rest eh)
Donkeys may be stubborn, but they are smart as hell and strong as a mad bull!
Willy was ready to stomp something silly. He wasn't having it. Where'd that dog disappear to though?
If the Donkey respects his master, that dog has nothing to fear Unless its retarded and attacked the Donkey XD
Donkeys are the BEST WATCH DOGS THAY REALLY ARE.NICE BUILDING
“Hold down the fort”😂😂
Donkey the most humble animal in the world __just lovable
I want to live in a place like that my gosh!! So beautiful.
Putting "named" in the title would have saved confusion. 🤣🌼👍 A great video. What a lovely guy.
Im all for these means of protecting livestock, compared to just genociding all the predators. If you really care about the stability of the ecosystem of your property or homestead, you'll want predators around. If I had property like this I'd love to know I had wolves and lions and such, keeping the deer population healthy. Donkeys seems like good natural guards
Subscribed. Excellent realism shown w how donkeys in real life will behave and defend. Great work!
Super cute :)
Donkeys are so smart and loving. They can be just like humans with their personalities.
I bet Willie takes care of the Sasquatch and they won't come around
Donkeys are both alarms and they will fight--and fight well.
