A charming and insightful young lady. In my opinion she is one of finest and complete young pianists before todays public.

Zlata is such a “sparkling” and “scherzo” musician - with all the limitations of comparisons... Her signature approach of (re)creation and reinvention of musical masterpieces by changing the optics and looking at works of one genius with the eyes of another (Rachmaninov - Chopin or Skriabin - Mozart, to mention just a few) is fascinating. Thanks, Zsolt and your team, for this glance into yet another unique universe.

She made probably the best Rach Chopin variations recording. Great interview as usual! 👍

The lady is right. When i wake up in the silent morning all I hear is music in my head. What a special piano-lady she is. 💗🌷🌷🌷 That 1st. Sonata by Rachmaninoff is so difficult and glorious. (Holland)

Lovely lady, both inside and out. And exceptionally intelligent. Enjoyed this programme very much. Thank you. (Something to love about Russia is that it recognises young musicians and other artists very early in life, and provides them with education of exceptionally high quality.)

Agree! I truly wish I had access to that type of education here in the US. So many of us were told music was foolish to persue, thus music has always been my first love but such a struggle for me. But it’s never to late.

Zlata Cochieva's two recent recitals in the Kleiner Saal of Berlin's Konzerthaus have been among the most memorable in my 70 years of attending concerts...in the line of.." coincidence "?? of many great Piscean artists: Chopin, Moiseiwitsch, Guiomar Novaes, Lily Kraus, Myra Hess, S.Richter, Arkadi Volodos, Daniil Trifonov...😊.

Amazing series and wonderful pianist, Zlata is so beautiful and so is her playing. Her story is inspiring and her passion for concert music is magnificent. Thank you for putting this out to the world. Please do Hélène Grimaud, Janine Jansen, Khatia Buniatishvili, or Sophie de Bardonnèche🖤🖤🖤🙏🏻🙏🏻 You really are the best! Thank you.

Very interesting artist. To an outsider like me it’s fascinating to hear how a professional like Zlata looks at at the world, to learn what inspires them. Great insight into her student-teacher relationship with Pletnev, and into the teacher himself. Excellent interview, Zsolt, as always!
