Thank you for going over this. I installed that exact VCM OTR cold air intake on our '09 G8 GT. I just feel like it's a little sturdier and better made than the Vararam. Although even the Vararam is much better than the factory air box.

hey brother! i have a full channel dedicated too my G8 GT, my car has over 221,000 miles (SBE) it has: long tube headers/vcm intake/hp tune 91/3.45/tsp bald eagle cam/3200 stall/exhaust/bmr toe rods.
question is...should i upgrade too 3.70 gears i believe that alone with ported & polished MACE heads and a ported intake manifold from GPI or FAST manifold, will put it deep into the 11s! the car runs consistent 12.0@115 on the street with Dragy doing 1.8x/1.9x 60' on a firestone firehawk indy500(275-40-18) theres no doubt in my mind 3.70s will hook EASILY with a 285-40-18 Mickey Thompson ET street SS.
with that being said with the 3.70s will it feel like the car dropped another 200-300lbs(the feeling)? i feel like 3.70s would be super fun around town and the maximum anyone should ever go for a daily. thanks and keep pushing!

I have same setup on my g8. I’m fixing to add a MSD 2 step. On my progressive controller do I add to one of my inputs to keep from activating the nitrous or do I just break both solenoids

You'll need to have the 2 stwp interrupt the signal tobthe progressive so it doesnt see wot until the 2 step is disabled

As a general rule, a 100 shot uses .8 lbs for every 10 seconds of use, so a 150 shot will use roughly 1.2 lbs per 10 seconds of use. You will get 7-8 1/4 mile passes on a 10 LB bottle
