I don't come from Bohol Island but we have wild tarsiers here in my parents ancestral farm. They often visit our cabin every night, as I can hear them walking on the roof. One even went inside but I just watch it wanders the cabin for a moment before going away.

Good cops actually isn't rare, it's because you only see the bad ones. If your logic is, "why are they silent? are they enabling them?" then is it right for me to say that your also enabling people that litter their trash anywhere? because even if you speak anything or voice out about it people will still do it anyway. It's because you can't control everyone just by saying or posting in social media "pls don't litter anywhere" as well as "pls don't be a bad cop". If there's a good guy by choice, there will always be a bad guy by choice too. 🤷‍♂️

It's terrible that the government doesn't have the same scheme for retired soldiers and pulis as they have for government employees. They were supposed to finance the retirement payouts to soldiers and pulis from the budget, but guess what? They spend the money on other things...

The largest crocodile recorded in the Philippines wasn't a fresh water species, but an Indo-Pacific specimen who was named Lolong, caught in Bunawan, Agusan del Sur in 2011. He measured nearly 21 feet (more than 6 meters) in length and weighed 2, 370 lbs. However, Lolong died in 2013 while in captivity. His remains have been preserved and is on display at the National Museum in Manila.

I first saw the Philippine Eagle when i was a 2nd year high school. It was a recently released eagle and it was originally released in davao, but it reached here in Manol Fortich,Bukidnon. Several PEC personell was there and luckily they let us see the eagle through binoculars. It was truly a majestic sight. We were about a kilometer away but when it spreads its wings, you can see it clearly without binoculars. I can still remember its face and how majestic it looks when it was flying.

Out of the 10 rarest species of animals that can only be found here in the philippines. I've personally seen 5 in captivity and some are in the zoo, the Kagwang, tarsier, philippine crocodile, mohawk pig and the great philippine eagle. They still thrive today and hopefully people will still protect them as much as possible cause if we don't we'll just see them here in one of this video or books in our libraries.

The strict "Philippine Islands", which are the islands excluding Palawan, is a unique geographical subregion. Palawan is geographically part of "Sundaland" or "Sundaic Subregion".
But the Indo-Malayan realm biogeographical region is home to the most unique and rich ecosystem and megadiverse regions in the world. Together, Both the Sundaic subregion and the Philippine subregion make up the Indo-Malayan region. That is why it is my favorite region. I am happy that I am living in it right now.
