Something like this would be so beneficial to those suffering from illness and disability. It could also prevent a lot of accidental deaths. And as another benefit, it could completely prevent unplanned pregnancies.

I always hate ending where one person gets to decide how the entire world spends their life. What about the handicap person that final gets to walk with their surrogate, or the person that found love, or the ones that just want adventure... screw all the soliders that will now uselessly die huh?
Side note but still in the same vein... screw that guy from Ready Player One! My only days off are tuesday and Wednesdays... so i just wouldnt be able to use the Oasis?
I was just thinking how selfish of a decision that was for all of the physically disabled people using the surrogates to just live a normal life.
Not to mention the wife that had to live with disfigurement, and just wanted to go outside without feeling judged or pitied.
She didn't get a happy ending in the books because of this.

Yeah on the whole, surrogates would be a good thing for humanity. They literally explain how much crime has been reduced with their mass production in the beginning of the movie. Dumb dumb dumb ending.
Yep. And how about the surrogate pilots, drivers, surgeons, etc who were doing their job when they were shut down? It's a movie BS to say that no one was harmed when hundreds of millions of surrogates just stop functioning in the middle of the day.

Imagine the day after. Going to work and finding out your office "fling" is actually a 47 year old guy(who hasn't been out of his house in 5 years), when you thought "she" was a 24 year old woman😂. "I still love you, isn't it what's inside that counts?". Oof.

They are human, and also robots... The title is pretty accurate... The robots don't work unless their human controllers have their conscience uploaded to them.
